According to the data, the top four models in the cumulative sales in the first two months of this year are all from Beijing Hyundai. Among them, Elantra won the first korean car sales championship with sales of 10,851 units. Hyundai ix35 ranked second, with cumulative sales of 10,121 units, also lower than the same period last year of 13,863 units, down 27.0% year-on-year.
Hyundai Tucson and Hyundai Yuedong sales were better than the same period last year, with Hyundai Tucson's cumulative sales of 7585 vehicles, ranking third, up from 2784 in the same period last year. After the launch of the new generation of Tucson, the market sales have increased. As a veteran, Hyundai Yuedong has accumulated sales of 6931 vehicles in January and February this year, which is also higher than the 4565 vehicles in the same period last year.
Kia Huanchi, the cheapest joint venture sedan, has accumulated sales of 5,324 units, just slightly lower than the same period last year. Huanchi's sister model, Hyundai Rena, has discontinued production and has not recorded sales this year. Although Kia Zhipao launched the Zhipao Ace model, its sales were only 4028 vehicles, even lower than the sales of 6571 vehicles in the same period last year before the revision.
Kia's KX3 sold 3,354 units, slightly lower than sales in the same period last year. In addition, the sales of Kia K3, Kia K5 and Hyundai Yuena were 3262 units, 1312 vehicles and 889 vehicles, respectively, which were not as good as sales in the same period last year.
Kia Edu, the cheapest joint venture SUV, has sold 3,323 units, slightly higher than the same period last year. Kia Freddy sold 3,306 vehicles, nearly doubling from the same period last year.
Among the two newly launched MPV models, Hyundai Kustu has accumulated sales of 3315 units, ranking ninth, significantly higher than the sales of its sister model Kia Jawa. Kia Kahua has sold only 506 units.
