Hyundai Elantra is the best-selling Korean car in 2021, with annual sales of 130839 units. But after the start of the year, sales declined, with only 7,211 units sold in January and 3,640 units in February, dropping to second place. As the sales force of Korean cars, the decline in sales of Elantra has dragged down the overall sales of Korean cars.
Hyundai Tucson and Yuedong sales were relatively stable, with sales of 3,387 units and 3,332 units in February, respectively, compared with the previous month's sales decline is not large, and the year-on-year increase is 362.7% and 94.9% respectively. The new generation of Tucson L has redesigned the exterior and interior, with an increased wheelbase and exterior dimensions, good value for money, but still low sales.
In fact, the market acceptance of several new generation models launched by the Korean series in recent years is not high, and the sales of the new generation Sonata in February are only 129 units, and the new Kia K5 has sold 558 units. The new famous map that was launched last year was sold as low as 12 vehicles in February.
Kia E-Run, the cheapest joint venture SUV, sold 1,680 units in February, and sales can be said to be stable at a low level. Kia Huanchi sold 1963 vehicles, ranking sixth, down 13.8% year-on-year. Kia's KX3 sold 1,622 units, essentially unchanged from the same period last year; Hyundai Yuena sold only 693 units in February, down 41.1% year-on-year.
