Growing up in the north, with a dedication and love, he studied mechanical design, manufacturing and automation during his undergraduate years and won all four years of "first-class scholarship", "national scholarship", "provincial outstanding student cadre", "provincial three good students" and many other honors, and was jointly trained by Northeastern University and the Chinese Academy of Sciences during his graduate studies, and participated in the design and research of the "National Heavy Weapon" XX deep-sea submersible AUV and the special project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences for science and technology.
While in charge of the project "Design for Autonomous Underwater Vehicles to Interface with Radio Charging System", Sun Yongjian found that submersibles at that time mainly relied on traditional wired charging methods, which in the deep-sea environment were prone to problems such as damaged cables, slow power transmission, and waterproof leakage. Therefore, he began to think about how to innovate the research of radio charging technology for underwater robots, making charging more convenient, efficient and reliable. At the same time, he also served as the leader of several provincial and university-level research projects. This means that patients do not need to undergo repeated examinations when visiting multiple hospitals, which significantly improves the medical experience of the public. This reform pilot work began with the construction of "Smart Longhua" in Longhua District, and has been comprehensively promoted as one of the important deployments of the city's first "smart city" construction.
2017 is of great significance to Longhua District. In this year, Longhua was listed as an administrative region, and the construction of "Smart Longhua" was launched soon after. 2017 is also important for Sun Yongjian. At that time, Shenzhen ZTE Network Information Technology Co., Ltd. was the general contractor of the "Smart Longhua" project, and Sun Yongjian was designated as the general person in charge of the project construction market, undertaking the key work of communication, connection and promotion between the construction of government business needs and enterprise technology research and development in the project process.
As the city's first "smart city", how to build it? What are the tangible and tangible results? As the general person in charge, Sun Yongjian has to communicate with users externally and clarify the technical points internally, and he leads the team like a technical "translator", frequently running between R&D and the market.
With the in-depth understanding and coordination ability of technology, under the leadership of Sun Yongjian and other relevant responsible persons, the team began to create a unique top-level plan of "Smart Longhua" and a leading domestic and world-class overall construction standard system from 0 to 1 under the guidance of government leaders. In only about 3 years, the first phase of the "Smart Longhua" project was basically completed, and it became the first new smart city project in the city and even the country to realize the integration of the whole district, and truly realized the "five unifications" of data, security, platform, network, and operation and maintenance for the first time in the country. The project construction results were also awarded the 2018 "Gold Award for the Best Industry Case of China's Smart City" by the National Development and Reform Commission.

In 2022, after a long period of dedication to the construction and development of smart cities and digital governments, Sun Yongjian joined China Electronics Group Shenzhen Chinasoft to promote the acceleration of digitalization, intelligence and modernization of the government office system with the support of digital technology.
Sun Yongjian's team took over the transformation and upgrading project of Shenzhen's mobile office system in the "first order" of Chinasoft in Shenzhen, and the most important task was to open up the online document handling function of the Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee Office and the Shenzhen Municipal Government Office. "Looking at the party and government office system across the country, we are the first to be able to achieve seamless connection between the online document processing of the municipal party committee and the municipal government." Sun Yongjian explained that in a mature technical architecture, different types of leadership approval sequences need to be supported by a large number of codes, algorithms and logic to establish mutual contact and communication channels between the municipal party committee and the municipal government.
Sun Yongjian recalls that a long desk and a small cabin of less than 50 square meters were where he and his team fought side by side. As the general leader of the project, Sun Yongjian needs to coordinate the project process and feedback the technical achievements at the same time. After several months of working day and night, Sun Yongjian led the team to successfully create version 3.0+ of Shenzhen's mobile office system, realizing the city's integrated collaborative office, greatly improving the cross-level, cross-regional, cross-departmental, cross-system, and cross-business collaboration and linkage capabilities of party and government organs, and won the "Shenzhen 2022 Government Management Innovation Award".
In 2023, Sun Yongjian, as a major participant in Shenzhen's major digital informatization projects, was awarded the "Top Ten Outstanding Young Entrepreneurs in Shenzhen" in 2022. Looking back at the way he came, he sighed, "When I first came to Shenzhen, I was still a 'novice' in the industry, and the city's "breaking" and "fighting" spirit deeply infected me, so that I could face the first project in the city or the first in the country, and I could have enough confidence to face the difficulties and obtain a very precious growth space and exercise opportunities." ”
