However, after the Accord was recalled, it was not cured, and many users still reported that they were recalled twice, or stalled. Therefore, it is estimated that Hiromoto himself does not know what the problem of stalling is caused.
There are also many user complaints about accord tire partial grinding, and tire partial grinding does not seem to be a very serious problem. But in fact, the problem is serious. The first is to cause accelerated wear of the tire, resulting in a significant reduction in the service life of the tire. Secondly, the noise caused by partial grinding increases, which affects the comfort of driving. The third is that the tire grip is very uneven, so it is easy to cause the impact of handling, or in the extreme state, it is easy to lose control.

A few days ago, after receiving 278 consumer complaints, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) officially launched an investigation into the Automatic Emergency Braking System (AEB) of the Honda Accord and CR-V, which may have a driving path and there are no obstacles, and suddenly start the automatic emergency braking system, causing safety hazards. It is reported that the survey models cover the Accord produced in 2018-2019 and the Honda CR-V produced in 2017-2019, involving as many as 1.7 million vehicles.
Of the 278 complaints received, 107 involved accordance with accords in 2018 or 2019 and 171 with honda CR-Vs in 2017-2019. In NHTSA's early filings, there were 6 cases that resulted in minor collisions.
It's unclear whether Honda's problem is a hardware problem or a software problem. If it is a software problem, then it can be solved by an OTA system upgrade, and if it is a hardware problem. Then there will be verification and recall. At present, Honda has said that it will fully cooperate with the NHTSA investigation and conduct an internal review of the existing information.
