Zi Yue: The old man is safe, the friend believes, and the young man cherishes it.
One day, Yan Yuan and Zilu were serving next to Confucius.

He said: Speak out your ideals and aspirations today and listen to them.
Zi Lu said: "May the carriage and horses, the clothes be light, be with friends, and have no regrets." ”

Zilu is a very chivalrous person, he said:
I want to be very rich and have a lot of cars at home;
In winter, there are good furs and coats to wear.
I hope to share the glory and wealth with my friends.
This boldness is a bit like the famous sentence of the poet Du Fu:
"There are tens of millions of mansions in Ande, and the cold people in the world are happy."
Zi Lu is the character of a hero, the morality of the qi;
Getting rich is by no means a personal enjoyment, but to share with friends,
Enjoy the ride without regrets!
The other disciple, Yan Yuan and Zi Lu, were two completely different examples.
May there be no good deeds, no labor.
The cutting of "good deeds" is boasting.
He said he wanted the best moral behavior, the best moral achievement.
Although he has good deeds and contributions to society, he is not proud or publicized.
"No shi lao", that is, to say that you can do your own thing,
Do not bring your own troubles and pains to others,
This is also Yan Yuan's so-called "benevolent words".
The ideal aspirations of this student are completely different.
Zilu's classmate's bold personality also quickly asked the teacher.
Teacher, what is your ideal?
Confucius said, "The old man is safe, his friends believe in it, and the lesser one cherishes it." ”
This is the ultimate meaning of social happiness!
"The old man is safe", all the old people in society, whether in the spiritual or material aspect, have settled.
"Friends believe in it", between friends in society, can trust each other, between people, there is no hatred, no doubt.
Young people will always have great ambitions and beautiful ideals.
