Regarding the relationship between Denza and BYD, it is still necessary to say a few more words. In the early days, Denza was originally a new energy brand jointly built by ATD and Daimler Benz, each with 50% investment, but because the sales of the brand model has been dismal, Daimler Benz and BYD subsequently signed an equity transfer agreement, from the previous 50% shareholding to the current State of Daimler and BYD holding 10% and 90% respectively. In other words, Denza, which has been spoiled by Mercedes-Benz for many years, finally returned to the arms of BYD.
According to BYD's planning, it will be divided into four sections: Dynasty Network, Ocean Network, Denza and new high-end brands, of which the first two will focus on the market below 300,000 yuan, while Denza will focus on the market of 300,000 to 500,000 yuan, and the high-end brand will be 50 to 1 million yuan.
