On February 14, Jiangling Ford Lingrui officially opened the pre-sale, from the announced pre-price of 158,880-18.88 million yuan, as a joint venture brand, medium-sized SUV positioning model, Lingrui has a great advantage in the same level of market segmentation, and even will have an impact on some of its own brand SUVs. The appearance of Lingrui has a very high degree of similarity with Lingyu, and the characteristics of family are distinct enough, but Lingrui shows more youthfulness in the design of details, and the visual senses can have a certain distinction between the target user groups of the two cars.
The interior of the front grille of Lingrui adopts dragon scale pattern, and the position of the headlights on both sides resembles the shape of fangs, which to a certain extent highlights the positioning of Lingrui's young sports.
The split light group is a new design of the Ford brand model, the daytime running lights are connected with the chrome plating of the middle net, forming a penetrating effect, the shape has a bit of sci-fi, and the lower half is the far and near headlights of the main lighting, and the light source is all in the form of LED.
The lines on the side of the new car, and even some of the muscular hard-school style, are in line with the traditional American SUV style. In terms of body size, the length, width and height are 4630/1935/1706mm, and the wheelbase is 2726mm, in addition to the width of the vehicle, the overall body size of Lingrui is not large among medium-sized SUVs.
Lingrui's top and sub-top models are equipped with 19-inch wheels, the styling style is relatively low-key, but also in line with the Style of American cars, and the entry-level models are equipped with 18-inch wheels. The test-drive tires use Goodyear with a specification of 235/50 R19.
The shape of the rear is also very American, through a number of horizontal lines, to increase the thickness of the rear, for the young market, Lingrui's tail design is relatively conservative.
The shape of the taillights echoes the running lights at the front of the car, and the LED light source has a good effect after being lit, which improves the overall recognition of the rear of the car to a certain extent. Lingrui in the intelligent driving assistance configuration is very comprehensive, this set of Co-Pilot360 intelligent driving assistance system integrates driving, parking related, very rich main and passive safety assistance functions, even the entry-level model can also meet the vast majority of use scenarios.
The 360 panoramic image quality is acceptable, and the wide angle is also good for distortion control of the image, with obstacle marking function, and also supports transparent chassis display.
On the top model, Lingrui also provides AR real-life map navigation, and the intelligent configuration is very sincere. It is worth mentioning that Lingrui is also equipped with track reversing assistance, which can automatically reverse the original line of 50m.
The adjustment of the air conditioner is integrated in the central control screen, and the central control position is designed with a row of quick operation buttons for the air conditioner, and the touch form is adopted.
The panoramic sunroof is not small in size, extending directly to the top of the rear head, and the openable area is also large enough.
Lingrui interior: technology and luxury coexist
Lingrui's seat shape design is very strong, the blue and white stitching color matching, with a certain sense of high-grade, the padding inside the seat is hard, and the wrapping on both sides brings good support to the body.
The experiencer who is 1.90m tall adjusts the seat to the lowest and suitable sitting position, with four fingers remaining in the head space.

However, the overall power characteristics are relatively conservative, the engine does not have a significant flashpoint, even if it comes to the high speed after 3000 rpm, it is difficult to feel the difference brought about by the high pressure of the turbine.
Ford has always been stingy about power tuning, this 1.5T engine from the parameter point of view, is the mainstream level of the same price, and even more than some of the competitors, but the actual power performance is not outstanding, on the one hand, the setting of the power itself, while the body weight of Lingrui, compared with the mainstream competitors, has a greater weight, and the second is the matching with the transmission system.
It is very close to the characteristics of the engine, and the calibration of the gearbox is also based on shun, even if it is a common jitter phenomenon of double clutch, it is also better controlled on the lingrui.
In terms of transmission efficiency, there will be a little delay, the gear shift action is not sharp enough, the power connection is not timely enough, and the matching of the engine and the gearbox is under-ignited.
In addition to the conventional D-gear mode, the transmission also provides L low gear, perhaps adding a sport mode gear, which may play a certain role in the comprehensive performance of the powertrain.
In terms of chassis, Lingrui has a good performance, achieving a certain balance between sports and comfort, and can feel the engineer's intention to adjust the chassis.
The first feeling after the road, the Lingrui chassis can bring a certain sense of heaviness, for the road surface fine vibration filter is good, even on the fast road, it is difficult to perceive the feedback of the road surface. At the same time, the vibration damping support for the body is also relatively in place, the roll in all directions is well suppressed, and the large undulating road surface of the speed reduction belt is quickly passed, although the damping of the vibration reduction can be felt, but the action is crisp and will not produce excess jumping.
After putting aside the vibration, the noise index of the vehicle NVH performance can be felt that Lingrui works the sound insulation material, in addition to a certain wind noise at high speed, there is no other obvious noise transmitted to the car.
The steering feel is very moderate, although there is no change with the speed gain, but the setting of the force and steering angle is relatively smooth, which is just right for an SUV like Lingrui that focuses on urban commuting.
