Can a hardened liver get better?

This is a question that was consulted today by a patient with nodular cirrhosis. My answer is yes, because not long ago, a patient treated with traditional Chinese medicine for 2 months, the cirrhotic nodules of the liver shrank.

The patient, 33 years old, had cirrhosis of the liver and affected the spleen, resulting in splenomegaly. After 3 years of treatment in other places, traditional Chinese and Western medicine methods have been used, and no effect has been seen. At the end of last year, the patient found me, after differentiation, I prescribed him traditional Chinese medicine, 2 months later, the test results showed that the length of the cirrhotic nodule was reduced by 1 mm (1/10), the spleen was also significantly reduced, and the patient reported that his physical symptoms had improved significantly.

His report sheet shows that from December 10, 2021 to January 14, 2022, the patient's cirrhotic nodules were reduced from 9×8 mm to 8×8 mm, and the size of the spleen dropped from 18.6 ×6.1 cm to 17.0 ×5.4 cm, while the normal spleen length was only 10 to 12 cm. Although the absolute value is not large, the trend of "shrinking" itself gives him hope – it is right not to give up treatment for 3 years. I believe that adhering to conditioning can get better results.

Nodular cirrhosis is a type of cirrhosis of the liver and is relatively difficult to treat. However, in the view of Traditional Chinese medicine, as long as the patient can be accurately identified, and according to different types of evidence, personal physique and other symptoms, the treatment effect is relatively good, and many patients can be cured.
