Korean Strait: A strait on the western edge of the North Pacific Ocean. Extending from northeast to southwest, it is 390 km long and 180-200 km wide, with a water depth of 50-150 m and a maximum depth of 228 m. The Korean Strait in the narrow sense refers to the waters between the southeastern Part of the Korean Peninsula and the Japanese island of Tsushima, also known as the "West Waterway" or "Busan Strait". The waters between Tsushima and Kyushu are called the "East Waterway". Among them, between Tsushima Island and Iki Island, it is called "Tsushima Strait"; Between Iki Island and Kyushu Island, it is called "Iki Waterway".
