"There are so many people in this world, how lucky I have a us...", time rushed like a white colt, looking back at the past scene after scene came to mind. In the graduation season of 2021, like most graduates, I fell into confusion, learned about the Western Plan project from my friends, with the mentality of trying, I chose to register, fortunately, after reviewing the interview and physical examination and other layers of screening, I became a volunteer of the University Student Volunteer Service Western Program and returned to my hometown of Zalantun City, Inner Mongolia for volunteer service.
Bidding farewell to the campus and entering the society, I am nervous but full of expectations, but fortunately, the place where I volunteer is the soil and water that has nurtured my hometown for more than 20 years, and it has always been my wish to return to my hometown. After the report of the Youth League Municipal Committee, I was assigned to the Tiedong Street Office, which is a agriculture-related street located in the east of the city, with a small population and a small place, but it also stimulated my enthusiasm for service, and I am willing to exert my blood in this land. Here I was mainly responsible for the work of the street Communist Youth League and the work related to epidemic prevention and control, and as the work gradually improved, I became an organizing member of the party branch of the street organ. Although every day is busy, I cherish every opportunity to learn.
The work of the Communist Youth League is full of vitality. I timely conveyed the work requirements of the Youth League Municipal Committee to the villages and communities, did a good job in maintaining the smart team building system of the street League Work Committee, and completed every task with quality and quantity. In September 2021, I participated in the "Please Rest Assured By the Party, The Strong Country Has Me" Hulunbuir Youth Lecturer Group Ability and Quality Improvement Training Course, and became a member of the Hulunbuir Youth Lecturer Group. In January 2022, I attended the 7th Congress of the Communist Youth League of Zarantun City and was very honored to become one of the members of the 7th Committee of the 7th Communist Youth League of Zarantun City.
The work of epidemic prevention and control is meticulous. "The epidemic is the order, prevention and control is the responsibility", since taking over the epidemic prevention and control work, I have received and pushed more than 3,000 pieces of information, submitted more than 560 forms to the control personnel, counted the vaccination promotion in the street jurisdiction, participated in the drill of nucleic acid testing for all employees in the street, the formulation of work plans, the use and maintenance of the nucleic acid detection system for all employees, and the layout of nucleic acid sampling points. Although the work of epidemic prevention and control is hard and often overtime, as a young party member, I am well aware of the importance of my position, and I know that data work cannot be sloppy, what is needed is meticulous and rigorous, serious and responsible, and I am also very happy that I can do my part for the epidemic prevention and control work.
The work of the party branches of the organs is serious and conscientious. Although I did not work in the street for a long time, with the trust and support of the leaders, I gradually became familiar with it, and participated in the branch theme party day activities, the 2021 "Building a Red Defense Line, Practicing the Initial Mission" special organization life meeting, and responsible for the daily work of party fee collection.
The former Soviet writer Nikolai Ostrovsky wrote in How Steel is Made: "A man's life should be lived like this: when he looks back on the past, he will not regret his wasted years, nor will he be ashamed of his inaction." I am very fortunate that at the most beautiful age, I chose the Western Plan, thank you for meeting, meeting a good leader who is generous to others, a big sister who is beautiful and kind, and a like-minded little friend.
Volunteer service to participate in the work for more than half a year, I learned a lot, gained a lot, whether it is the way and method of work, the degree of care, the improvement of skills, or the treatment of people and things, or for people to deal with things have grown, the transformation of identity makes me no longer a young student on campus, I feel more on my shoulders, a mission. Looking to the future, I will devote myself to the volunteer service of the Western Plan with more enthusiasm, do not forget my original intention, and continue to move forward!
