Small love and people, great love and the crowd - remember the 2022 "Hulunbuir good man" Yan Chuanhai

Yan Chuanhai, 46, who lives in Yadong Town, Arongqi, was disabled 23 years ago due to a car accident that caused a crushing fracture of both knee joints, removed the meniscus of both knees, replaced the artificial knee joint in his left knee, and fell disabled. In 2020, he founded Ah RongQi Tian Yu Qishi Co., Ltd., which led 13 local disabled people to employment while successfully starting a business, selflessly helping others, winning high praise from the masses and being named "Hulunbuir Good Man" in 2022.

Yan Chuanhai has been working in other places with a meager income. 12 years ago, he saw the geographical advantages of Yadong Town as a transportation hub of Arongqi and Moqi and the commercial advantages of the surrounding townships and towns, decided to return to his hometown to start a business, opened a restaurant in the town's Zhenwang community, and a few years later added a guest house, and has since had a stable economic income. Yan Chuanhai has always loved jade culture, and he studied jade when he was running in the off-season in hotels and guest houses. During the day, he and his family went to the nearby fields to collect jade raw materials, and at night, he consulted the materials to study the types and grades of jade. In the dead of night, he often recalled the scene when he was looking for a job and ran into a wall, and gradually came up with the idea of establishing a jade processing enterprise to promote the employment of the disabled.

In 2020, the Arongqi Disabled Persons' Federation took the opportunity of building a cultural and creative brand for the disabled, relying on the rich local jade resources and cultural industry foundation, to explore and create a government-led, disabled federation-led, "enterprise + base" disabled craftsmen training and disabled people's entrepreneurship and employment support model. With the strong support of the Arongqi Disabled Persons' Federation, Yan Chuanhai established Arongqi Tiantian Yuqi Stone Co., Ltd., which is mainly engaged in the processing and manufacturing of jade arts and crafts and ceremonial supplies, jade acquisition, jewelry sales, etc., and builds the company into a loving enterprise integrating social security, technical training and cultural inheritance.

Since its inception, the company has always been adhering to the concept of "survival by quality, development by reputation", inheriting the unique jade culture and traditional craftsmanship of Arong Banner, vigorously developing the local jade cultural industry, focusing on the training of jade processing skills for the disabled, continuously enriching the spiritual and cultural life of the disabled, and driving the employment and income of the local disabled. At the same time, Yan Chuanhai also regularly organizes stone exhibition and sales markets, and each stone market is equipped with a number of consultants from the company to guide and explain jade culture, which has played a positive role in promoting jade cultural exchanges and driving local economic development.

Went to Liaoning to purchase jade processing equipment, hired processing technicians, carried out training for the disabled, and organized a jade market, Yan Chuanhai was very busy. After nearly 5 months of operation, the company has 23 employees, and 13 disabled people have been centrally placed in employment through training. Yan Chuanhai said that he is a disabled person himself, and he can better appreciate the difficulties of the disabled group. While starting their own business, they wanted to drive more disabled people to employment, and this idea was also strongly supported by the Arong Banner Disabled Persons' Federation. After the establishment of the company, he arranged for the disabled to engage in different kinds of work such as acquisition, cleaning, polishing, drilling, beading and so on according to their own characteristics, which also enriched their cultural life while generating income.

Mr. Wang, 55, was physically disabled by the sequelae of a cerebral infarction a few years ago and came to work here after the company was founded. "In the summer, it is mainly to clean the stones, and in the winter to do some work within the reach, such as stringing the processed jade through these relatively easy jobs, a monthly salary of nearly 2,000 yuan, enough to supplement the family." Wang Baoquan's excitement was overflowing with words.

Many years ago, Man Yanchun of Dongya Township, Yadong Township, suffered a second-degree physical disability due to a traumatic brain injury, and the family only relied on her husband's odd jobs to survive, and a stable income was crucial for the family. "I didn't listen to the call because I broke half of my limb, and I was barely able to take care of myself. Brother Yan learned that I would paste diamond paintings, took the initiative to purchase raw materials for me, and also helped recycle and sell, so that I could work at home. Since I got a job, I've earned nearly $10,000. Man Yanchun said happily to reporters.

"Everyone yearns for and pursues a better life, and the disabled brothers and sisters around them are not far behind, hoping to improve the quality of life and realize self-worth through their own labor." In the next step, I want to expand the scale of production, further enhance the visibility of enterprises, grasp economic benefits and assume more social responsibilities at the same time, and help the public welfare undertakings of the disabled. When it comes to future planning, Yan Chuanhai is full of confidence. ( Reporter Dong Yongsheng)
