I didn't expect to talk about this philosophical proposition with a high school student, and I talked about it speculatively. I need feedback from the outside world to prove who I am.
When people reach the age of forty, they see things thoroughly and yearn for a peaceful life. Some words, needless to say, your actions are the best language; some words, which cannot be said, are easy to be used by people with ulterior motives; at some point, they become more like to be alone, and even confidants and friends are reluctant to say more. Don't disturb other people's lives, and don't want your own life to be disturbed.
My niece came to my house for dinner. While eating, while chatting, somehow we talked about the topic of cosmic life. What was the beginning of the universe? What is the intention of the evolution of the universe? Where is the way out for humanity?
Human beings are spatially limited by the earth, time limited by lifespan, and human beings are like beasts trapped in cages, who arranged all this.
Evolution has made human beings from apes to men, from barbarism to enlightenment, from stupidity to wisdom, from passive to active, from dazed ignorance to thinking about the meaning of existence.
But this speed is too slow, and the technology has advanced so much that humans can walk in space, but we haven't figured out "who I am" yet. We are constantly exploring, knowing all kinds of people and things, and then getting feedback from the outside to prove who we are?
Where will we go when there is no externality? Like a story with no ending, why start?
I think, therefore I am.
The universe exists because of our thoughts. When you don't think, there is no existence.
