Hydrogen fuel vehicles have the characteristics of zero emission, long endurance and high convenience, which is an important development direction for new energy vehicles. The Beijing Winter Olympics demonstrated the operation of more than 1,000 hydrogen fuel vehicles, equipped with more than 30 hydrogen refueling stations, which is the world's largest fuel cell vehicle demonstration, which helps to demonstrate China's determination and ability to transform its energy structure and fulfill its commitment to double carbon. At the same time, it will improve public awareness of the feasibility and reliability of hydrogen fuel vehicle applications.
In this event, 950 Yutong buses undertook service guarantees, covering a variety of models, including 185 hydrogen fuel buses, including buses and buses, serving the whole area of Beijing, Yanqing and Zhangjiakou.
Yutong hydrogen fuel bus has the advantages of low hydrogen consumption, high safety and strong adaptability to low temperature environment. At present, 185 Yutong hydrogen fuel buses are methodically going back and forth to and from the competition venues, Olympic villages, spectator connection points, etc., and undertake the travel guarantee work of athletes, volunteers and event participants.
Yutong has been developing fuel cell buses since 2009, achieved the first fuel cell bus qualification certification and official announcement in China, built the first hydrogen refueling station in the Central Plains, and established the industry's first fuel cell and hydrogen energy engineering technology research center. After more than ten years of R&D accumulation, a super R&D team led by the leading talents of the National Ten Thousand Talents Plan and composed of more than 300 professional R&D personnel has been formed, and the progress of products, technologies and industries in the fuel cell industry has been promoted through strategic investment in key fuel cell components enterprises such as Yihuatong, and long-term cooperation with universities and research institutes such as Tsinghua University.
