Recently, Changan Automobile's new digital pure electric brand "Changan Deep Blue" released its first model C385 (code name, or renamed at the time of listing). The new car is 4820mm long and has a wheelbase of 2900mm, positioning itself as a mid-size sedan.
The new car is built on the EPA1 platform, which has four high attributes: the electrical efficiency of the extreme power system drive; the high performance of the four-wheel drive for the future drive; the high intelligence based on the domain-controlled electronic and electrical architecture; and the high safety of the three-layer protection of the core car cloud. It is not only a pure electric architecture platform, but also compatible with extended range power and hydrogen fuel power, Changan Deep Blue C385 provides pure electricity, extended range and hydrogen fuel three power options.
C385 pure electric version endurance up to 700km, high-power version of more than 190kW; extended range version of the maximum endurance or more than 1200km, extended range version of pure electric endurance or more than 200km, feed fuel consumption as low as 4.5L/100km; hydrogen fuel version endurance up to 700km, feed hydrogen consumption as low as 0.65kg/100km or less, can be full in 3 minutes.
Changan Deep Blue C385 will adopt a rear H-arm multi-link independent suspension, which is better than the traditional five-link suspension and is conducive to the suspension tuning of heavier electric vehicles. The new car adopts a rear drive, and supports the option of adding a front motor to form an electric four-wheel drive. At the same time, the new car will be equipped with a vehicle domain controller (Qualcomm 8155 chip), support FOTA, and the intelligent driving controller has 27 sensing components, which can achieve up to L4 level intelligent driving.
Changan Deep Blue officially calls its central control screen a driving intelligent steering sunflower screen, which can be automatically tilted left and right according to the use of the scene, and the size reaches 14.6 inches. The overall interior style of the new car is simple and atmospheric, and the color is all black. Details, such as the central armrests, door trims and seats, will be wrapped in soft materials to pull up the grade.
In terms of safety, Changan Deep Blue C385 uses a five-horizontal and nine-vertical hugging body design, which accounts for more than 45% of high-strength steel and provides safety protection for the battery. In terms of battery temperature control management, the use of aerospace-grade full battery heat insulation technology, alcohol-cooled and efficient heat dissipation, transient pressure relief technology, overpressure sealing control, global anti-short circuit technology, directional pressure drainage temperature and full-time temperature alarm and other technologies, even if there is an extreme cell thermal runaway, it can effectively avoid the whole package of thermal runaway.
