In the first quarter of 2022, in terms of overall production and sales, Yutong Bus produced a total of 4698 vehicles, a cumulative decrease of 31.29%; in terms of sales, a total of 4945 cars were sold, a cumulative decrease of 31.09% year-on-year.
According to the data, Yutong Bus is a large-scale manufacturing enterprise integrating R&D, manufacturing and sales of bus products, and its main products can meet the market demand of different lengths of 5 meters to 18 meters. As of the end of the reporting period, the company has a complete product chain of 126 product lines, mainly used in various market segments such as road passenger transport, tourist passenger transport, bus passenger transport, group commuting, school bus, scenic car, airport shuttle bus, automatic driving microcirculation car, bus special vehicle and so on.

Yutong Bus said that in the domestic market, the bus market has been new energy, affected by the early consumption of new energy buses in 2015-2017, and the demand for bus procurement has continued to decline since 2018-2021. From the perspective of development trends, with the withdrawal of the subsidy policy for new energy vehicles in 2023, it is expected that new energy buses will usher in growth in 2022. At the same time, with the promotion of the "double carbon" policy, it is expected that new energy buses will gradually enter the field of road buses, mainly for group leasing and short-distance passenger transportation in the short term.
