Yutong Bus Q1 achieved revenue of 3.546 billion yuan, down 2.84% year-on-year

Jiwei Network News (Text/Lin Xueying) On April 27, Yutong Bus released the first quarter report of 2022, saying that the company achieved revenue of 3.546 billion yuan in Q1, down 2.84% year-on-year. Attributable net profit was a loss of $116 million, net of non-net profit loss of $324 million.

Regarding the change in performance, Yutong Bus said that it was mainly due to the increase in expenses in the current period.

According to the data, Yutong Bus is a large-scale manufacturing enterprise integrating R&D, manufacturing and sales of bus products, and its main products can meet the market demand of different lengths of 5 meters to 18 meters. As of the end of the reporting period, the company has a complete product chain of 126 product lines, mainly used in various market segments such as road passenger transport, tourist passenger transport, bus passenger transport, group commuting, school bus, scenic car, airport shuttle bus, automatic driving microcirculation car, bus special vehicle and so on.

In terms of new energy products, the domestic pure electric bus and highway market segments have completed the comprehensive technical upgrading of the new energy system, Yutong Bus has completed the layout of 10-18 meters Yuwei full range of pure electric bus products and the listing of 12 meters of new energy highway products, and launched a new 6 meters of micro-circulation pure electric bus products, while Yutong Bus has done a good job in the planning and development of new energy products in 2022.

In recent years, Yutong Bus is transforming from a "manufacturing + selling products" enterprise to a "manufacturing service + solution". The original "Yutong model" of China's manufacturing and export has become a model for China's automobile industry to move from product output to technology output.
