On the second day of the Chinese New Year, at the event site of Hezejiahe city shopping center, unique shapes and sweet sugar people, exquisite portraits, vivid and evocative face sculptures and other intangible cultural heritage items were unveiled. In the mall, a curtain, a beam of lights, with the rhythm of the music sounded, the shadow puppet play kicked off, instantly attracting many people to stop and watch. Only to see two performers from the Dingtao Shadow Puppet Art Troupe skillfully manipulating multiple shadow puppets in the background, as the shadow puppet movements gradually came to life, one by one, the classic traditional Chinese stories jumped out, so that everyone deeply felt the artistic charm of shadow puppetry. Not far away, humorous and funny clowns performed stilts, unicycles, straw hat shows and other programs with body movements and funny expressions, which amused the audience, especially loved by children.
"We've been here for two days in a row, and the kids love it and have a great time here." Zhang Zhenqiang, a citizen who brought children to watch the clown performance, said that when a family came out to shop in the mall, they could not only appreciate the unique skills of folk artists and find a strong New Year's flavor, but also let the children feel the charm of traditional folklore in a happy atmosphere.
