Although the global auto market is affected by the supply of parts, BYD, as a self-sufficient car company with semiconductors and power batteries, has not been affected by the market at all.

In terms of specific brands, the source of Great Wall Motors' sales in 2021 is still the Haval brand, the cumulative sales volume for the whole year increased by 2.64% year-on-year to 770,008 vehicles, the Euler brand is the biggest increase in the brand of Great Wall Motors, the annual sales volume increased by 140% to 135,028 units year-on-year, the independent tank brand sold 84,588 vehicles throughout the year, and the positioning of high-end WEY became the only brand to decline, with the cumulative sales of the whole year falling by 25.65% year-on-year to 58,363 vehicles.

At the beginning of this year, FAW Group proposed to achieve sales of 4.1 million vehicles in 2022, an increase of 17.1% year-on-year, of which FAW-Volkswagen undertook 2 million vehicles, FAW Toyota undertook 1 million vehicles, Hongqi undertook 450,000-500,000 vehicles, and Besturn undertook 100,000 vehicles.

For FAW-Volkswagen, if the impact of the chip shortage improves, the sales target of 2 million vehicles should not be difficult. It is understood that in 2021, FAW-Volkswagen has accumulated 1,857,777 new terminal sales, of which 988,677 are Sold by Volkswagen brand terminals, 700,088 by Audi brand terminals, and 169,012 by Jetta brand terminals.

FAW Group's autonomous sector still has to look at the Hongqi brand, and its planned sales target for 2022 is 450,000-500,000 vehicles, an increase of only 50,000 vehicles over 2021. According to the latest data released by FAW Hongqi, sales in January 2022 were 42,100 vehicles, an increase of 30% year-on-year, while 42,100 vehicles were sold in the first month of the year, which may indicate that the Hongqi brand will have a good performance this year.

Dongfeng Motor Group: 3.471 million units

As one of the large domestic automobile manufacturers, Dongfeng Motor Group also relies on joint ventures. The first is Dongfeng Honda, which in 2021, due to irresistible reasons, its annual sales fell by 10.40% year-on-year to 761879 vehicles, and it is not difficult to pick up in 2022. However, in 2022, Dongfeng Honda will launch a number of blockbuster models, such as a new generation of CR-V/XR-V, a new pure electric e:NS1, etc., which may drive the sales performance of Dongfeng Honda to a certain extent.
