The Swedish oncologist who worked only three months a year and spent the rest of the day doing what he wanted in the paradise he had created was in the promised land of Costa Rica in Central America.

Richard is a Swedish oncologist who has come into contact with many patients with advanced cancer and often advises patients to cherish life and live in the moment. Twenty-one years ago, he discovered, fell in love with and bought a land of more than 90 hectares in Costa Rica. Since then, he has returned to Sweden every summer to work as a doctor for three months, and the rest of the time has been spent as a farmer in his Costa Rican promised land, keeping three horses and a dog.

After two years of stranding in Sweden, he recently flew back to his promised land, and now Costa Rica, like Mexico, is completely open to tourists.
