Ancient poems are cleverly embedded in famous paintings
"Fuchun Mountain Residence Map" is an ink painting on paper created by Huang Gongwang, the crown of the "Four Greats of the Yuan Dynasty", in 1350, depicting the beautiful landscape scenery of the Fuchun River in Zhejiang Province, and is the crowning work of Chinese ink landscape. The 2022 Spring Festival Gala deliberately took this as the core creative element, and together with the Spring Festival Gala director team, the Central Academy of Fine Arts, the Beijing People's Art Theater and many other first-class teams and outstanding artists, through the perspective of the dancers, gradually "met" the people in the painting, and skillfully integrated elements such as ancient poetry, forming a creative work "Remembering Jiangnan".
Since part of the famous painting "Fuchun Mountain Residence Map" is preserved in the Zhejiang Provincial Museum and the other part is stored in the National Palace Museum in Taipei, the program "Remembering Jiangnan" is jointly participated by actors from both sides of the strait. The distinctive performances create a transcendent landscape and immerse the audience in the artistic conception of traditional Chinese landscape paintings; they also interpret the "cultural integration of the two sides of the strait", the beauty of the mountains and rivers of Guotai Min'an, and the beauty of China in an artistic way.

It is difficult to dynamically restore the "Fuchun Mountain Residence Map"
Beijing Renyi director Tang Ye led Beijing Renyi artists to participate in the creation and filming of "Remembrance of Jiangnan" in early December last year. In addition to the early communication of music and costumes, experts were also invited to select poems for "Remembering Jiangnan" in conjunction with "Fuchun Mountain Jutu". The first to be decided was Pu Cunxin's Su Shi 'Xing Xiangzi Qilise', and in order to perform the effect, Pu Cunxin recited multiple versions in a variety of ways for the creative team to select.
The biggest difficulty of the "Remembrance of Jiangnan" program is to dynamically restore the "Fuchun Mountain Residence Map". To this end, the Spring Festival Gala program group specially invited Fan Di'an, president of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, to be the planner of "Remembering Jiangnan"; Tian Mei, deputy director of the Spring Festival Gala, led the program team to the Academy of Fine Arts for many times to discuss and exchange with the artists in depth; the entire creative team took a month to complete the hand-painting work of the landscape scenes and objects and image elements that appeared in the program. Among them, 5 Chinese painting artists split "Fuchun Mountain Jutu" into nearly 150 Chinese painting elements, and post-production combined all the Chinese painting elements to form a three-dimensional dynamic stereoscopic version of "Fuchun Mountain Jutu" that no one had ever done before, and finally formed a wonderful effect of "people in painting, painting with the scene".
In the music creation part of the program, the main theme uses "Spring River Flower Moon Night" by Chen Qigang. On this basis, Liu Zhuo wrote the part sung by the singer. The words that appear in the program are also carved and printed by seal engravers. The whole work can be described as exquisite everywhere, showing oriental aesthetics in a creative way, reflecting the profound and poetic beauty of Chinese culture, and thus receiving heartfelt praise and love from the audience.
