I was also very reluctant to look at this entry point before, because I did pay attention to similar practices, and the novelty of this plummeted. The way "Reminiscence of Jiangnan" does not actually make my eyes shine, on the contrary, its overall tone is biased towards "pedantry", and it is precisely this "pedantic" that unexpectedly soothes me.
"Ancient paintings come alive" generally have two general directions:

If you have seen "How to Talk About This Painting", you will find that it is very similar to the costume comedy method of twenty years ago, which is essentially the image of the ancients as the words and deeds of modern people, so as to achieve the purpose of being close to the audience and pleasing the audience (pleasing here is neutral).
For example, in the movie "Hedong Lion Roar", Su Dongpo held a personal concert, while in "How to Talk About This Painting", the women in "Trick Painting" were allowed to chat gossip, complain about work, grab C positions, let "Prince Guo" talk about mate selection standards, play online live broadcasting, and create a direction closer to network comedy (the screenwriter himself does this).

Because the comedic effect mainly relies on the difference between ancient and modern times, in order to maximize this contrast, the lines of these actors dressed as ancient paintings are more fashionable than the ordinary people's life language, the words are more networked, and they will also be mixed with English.
As for the cultural nature of the ancient painting itself, it is weakly reflected, mainly relying on other subtitle descriptions to complete, and even if it is involved in the plot, it is extremely shallow.
And "Remembrance of Jiangnan" is completely reversed, the actors who play the characters of ancient paintings are doing things that conform to the "ancient meaning" setting regardless of their words and deeds, and its cultural nature is the content of the program itself. The modern feel of the whole show relies on special effects technology, and the composition can actually be replaced by some traditional tunes, even ancient songs. The meaning of its "living" is closer to the first one mentioned above, which is to try to restore the painting intention, rather than creating contrast.
The difference in planning is also reflected in the production, such as the dynamic "Qingming On the River Map" using keying, and then post-processing, and the post-film subtitles of "How to Talk About This Painting" are only a lot of personnel related to publicity and IP authorization (the goose factory thing can be understood). Fan Di'an, one of the curators of "Remembrance of Jiangnan", is the president of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, which directly promoted the professional skills of CAFA hand-painting, and the split elements required for special effects are directly painted by CAFA teachers and students according to the style of "Fuchun Mountain Residence Map" (although I think it is not all).

It is this difference that makes the background of "Memories of Jiangnan" very clear (the picture quality is too low when the live broadcast is too low for me to see clearly, and then I went to see 1080p), and I also found some changes:
"Fuchun Mountain Residence Map" is an ink landscape painting, although some places say that there are still some ochre stones, counting as "shallow landscape", but the "Remembrance of Jiangnan" lens is obviously richer in color, all a bit of "small green" meaning, and echo the dancers' turquoise. Leaving aside the development of Chinese painting, only from the perspective of the general audience, adding color can better integrate with live actors, and it is easy to substitute for the half-truth and half-illusion of landscape imagination. Assuming pure ink, this artistic conception will be too long, and the characters will be like plucked from the painting, achieving the effect of not being able to swim in the middle of the painting.

This can also be compared with "How to Talk About This Painting", although the paintings with relatively simple backgrounds are selected, but the sense of separation between real people and ancient paintings is more obvious, which will also give the audience a strong sense of cos.
Therefore, although "Reminiscence of Jiangnan" is very "pedantic" in restoring "ancient paintings", it seems that it does not extract any abstract themes, nor does it interpret the articles through the differences between ancient and modern times, but it unexpectedly makes me feel happy and comfortable, just like the pictures I imagined when I watched ancient paintings. It's like finding someone with a piece of paper on the face of a person, and a heart that is secretly throbbing is greatly soothed.
The most familiar poems read the farthest dreams
People who don't like "Remembrance of Jiangnan" may think that this is not a TV poetry recitation, and there are not too many such programs in the early years. Indeed, peeling back the light and shadow effects of "Memories of Jiangnan", the core has always been very "old", although I like it, I do not deny this problem. Another curator of the show is Kang Zhen, who probably promoted the professional skills of the poetry part.
For example, "How to Tell This Picture", there will usually be a screenwriter, so that the show finally has a coherent story. The TV poetry recitation is more casual, with at most one theme of the scene, and the poems of this issue are selected according to this theme. There is no screenwriter in the program information of "Memories of Jiangnan", only planning, and the lyrics are also composed by several ancients, but the structure of the whole program is logical, and it pushes a theme with strong literati attributes by surrounding the two lines of one light and one dark.
Below I will talk about the information I personally read according to the characters and poems (knocking on the screen: this is a personal interpretation, not reluctantly agreeing)——

Only one sentence is used here, and two lines are still pointed: the author Cui Tu speculates that he is a person in the area of the Fuchun River, and continues to deduct the title "Fuchun"; this poetic sentence is not about the real woodcutter, but a leisurely and secluded life, and the dark line begins to surface.

The dark and bright lines begin to combine, further lifting the dark lines out. Lu You's article borrows an allusion to the famous ancient hermit Yan Ziling, whose hermitage is on the banks of the Fuchun River.
Pu Cunxin "Reader" appeared, chanting "Xingxiangzi • Crossing The Seven Mile Se", sung by the fisherman father.
A leaf boat is light, and the double oars are amazing. Water sky clear, shadow Cham Wave Flat. Fish turning algae, heron lighting smoke. Rush over the sand creek, frost creek cold, moon creek bright.
Heavy like a painting, curved like a screen. Count the years, the old Yan Mausoleum. A dream of kings and subjects, an empty name in ancient times. But the distant mountains are long, the clouds and mountains are chaotic, and the mountains are green.

Compared with the original word, "Remembering Jiangnan" deleted "Counting the year, the old Yan Ling." A dream of a monarch, an empty name in ancient times", these two sentences, the sentences left so far have become pure praises of beautiful scenery. If you add these two sentences, you will find that the sentence "But the distant mountains are long, the clouds and mountains are chaotic, and the mountains are green" still laments how short and worthless the fame and fortune that people are chasing through the eternity of the beauty of the landscape.

Zhenyi is independent of Fuchun Mountain, and the fish and birds are also idle.
The breeze rises above the cloud table, and the ruins remain in the landscape and water.

The allusion of "Diaoyutai" has already appeared before, that is, Yan Ziling, so although it is not used in the verse, it is still around this theme. Still only the sentences related to Yongjing were retained, and the themes in Su Shi's "Xingxiangzi" that had become less obvious because of the deletion of sentences were euphemistically highlighted. My understanding of this is that the two sentences deleted by Su Shi are too straightforward, and now this treatment allows even the audience who does not know the allusions to read the beauty of landscape and music from the surface of the poem.
Therefore, in my opinion, "Remembrance of Jiangnan" is not a assortment of poetry, but an effort to select, even accurate to the sentence.
Yan Ziling only appeared once in Lu You's "Queqiao Immortal", and then disappeared, because "Remembering Jiangnan" is not to talk about whether Yan Ziling still has the heart to fight for fame and profit after he has lived in seclusion, but through Yan Ziling and Fuchun Landscape to talk about the philosophical thinking of tranquility. And the appearance arrangements of trees, fishing, and reading, and there is also an interaction between "fishing" and "reading", which are obviously running to the setting of "fishing tree cultivation and reading", which the ancient literati yearn for pastoral life.

From the content, it can also be seen that "Yijiang Nan" is quite different from other ancient painting derivatives, generally considering the level of the audience, no matter which art form combined with ancient paintings will more or less be able to get rid of the basic motivation of wanting to explain the ancient paintings that will be used.
In this show, it is probably necessary to introduce the legendary nature of the collection of "Fuchun Mountain Jutu", after all, it is really a talk, and the significance of ZZ that can be represented by the realization of special effects technology. Although the creators in the behind-the-scenes explanation did say the same, it does not prevent "Memories of Jiangnan" itself from being a complete program with considerable depth but very quaint.

The rest is to talk about the costume styling of "Yi Jiangnan", on the whole, it is much better than "How to Talk About This Painting", although the latter is looking for a merchant in a certain circle, and there are many drafts of costume restoration, but the clothes of the second issue of "Prince Guo" are made bald, and none of the points are right. In the current situation that film and television dramas are selling historical restoration, "Memories of Jiangnan" is looking for a designer who mainly does stage costumes, and mainly dance dramas, which is expected to surprise many people.

However, from the final effect, several characters who appeared on the scene basically could not pick out particularly large hard injuries. The side shows that as long as the role is in the conventional category, the designer who has learned basic professional skills and has solid basic skills is actually enough.
To paraphrase the examination of costume costumes, "Yijiang Nan" in the fictional world according to "poetic feelings" can be regarded as "overhead", but it does not mean that there is no restoration requirement. On the contrary, the requirements for the restoration of ancient paintings are not low, but they are not equivalent to restoring history, and there is a difference between the two. Previously in "Also drunk! In what era, some people still take Qiu Ying's female paintings as Ming Dynasty costumes!? As has been said, ancient paintings are not equal to facts, and the paintings may be the images in the imagination of the painters, and even the images after being stylized by many literati painters.
For example, the image of Li Liqun's "walker" should be based on the staff Gaoshi, which often appears in ancient paintings. This stick is not as short as in "Memories of Jiangnan", but it is taller than a person. Its appearance is similar to that of Diaoyutai and Caiwei in the poems, and its performance is also an ideal realm of sympathy for landscapes and rivers and escape from the world.

My personal observation is that the prototypes used by the two "walkers" and "readers" are coats, and they refer to the image of Su Shi. Some people may think that ancient paintings can only be seen, and they may be fictional, so how to restore it? The answer is very rough, that is, no matter how you try to achieve it, the final dress of Yazi must be like an ancient painting.
There are generally two ways to go:
First, if you have an understanding of ancient costumes, you can start from the historical age, look for information, and adjust according to the presentation of ancient paintings on the basis of the examination of ancient costumes in this period, after all, the painter can not surpass his own era no matter how imaginative;
Second, if you don't know much about ancient costumes, relying on your own professional skills, people can tie out the effect you can use tailoring to achieve, the level is collaged, in short, as long as you ensure that the final effect is like that in the short period of time of shooting, change the angle to change the lens and then adjust it, after all, the audience can not take off the screen to see the structure, and will not require the actors to wear costumes to live simulation life.
In fact, the vast majority of costume designs take the latter way, but through the way of publicity to package themselves into the former, which is the reason why most costume dramas overturned. If you look closely, the costumes of "Remembrance of Jiangnan" are staged, and many details do not conform to life, that is to say, it will be strange to examine it by the standards of film and television dramas.
For example, the worn sense of clothing on the characters such as "Woodman" and "Fisherman" has obvious manufacturing traces, and the old texture is achieved by blending colors, if it is film and television, it will choose a rougher fabric or directly make it old and broken. The pants legs of the characters are also made of a way similar to the mouth of the lantern pants, which is very staged, and the more life-like and more cinematic treatment is generally directly pulled up, tied with a tie, or directly cut short to make raw edges.

But in this case, where each character appears for a short time, and because it is an ancient painting with a clear color grading filter, the sense of stage will be eliminated so that the audience will ignore its existence.
There is also another one, that is, casting brilliantly. The four "Fisher Fathers" in charge of singing are the least experienced in acting, but they also have almost no movement. The four responsible for chanting are all old drama bones, not to mention the level of poetry recitation, their behavior also makes the characters more established. Why some actors wear rags like an ancient tramp, while some stars are like a modeler who has been pit to rub the pick-up photo, this kind of performance ability is actually very helpful for the service of the Road, and has been ignored (this has a pit in writing, here will not unfold).
In my opinion, the costume design of "Memories of Jiangnan" is that it can be used, and there are many places where the details can be polished. Some places seem to have shortcomings in completion, and some may be shortcomings in prop elements. But it has never become the shortcoming of "Memories of Jiangnan", and even because the comprehensive completion of the entire program in "Ancient Meaning" is very high, the costumes as parts that the audience will notice are easy to be praised, which is mutual achievement.
