At the Guangzhou Auto Show last year, Dongfeng Nissan brought e-POWER technology, and its first model, Xuanyi e-POWER, was also officially launched not long ago, with a price range of 138,900 yuan to 155,900 yuan comparable to Toyota's HEV models.

Can e-POWER technology play in the end?
As another electric drive technology that is different from hybrid and pure electricity, whether Dongfeng Nissan e-POWER can truly make up for the disadvantages of pure electricity and hybrid on the basis of carbon emission reduction, and become the power route that is most in line with the current car environment, which is the most concerned by everyone.
First of all, e-POWER is different from hybrid technology, the engine is not involved in driving the vehicle, only relying on electric drive. The task of the engine is to take care of the energy conversion, to convert gasoline into electricity.

Taking Xuanyi e-POWER as an example, it can create an ultra-low fuel consumption of only 3.9L/100km in the urban area, which is not only far lower than the fuel version of Xuanyi, but also lower than the fuel consumption of Toyota and Honda HEV models of the same level.
With such low fuel consumption, how does Xuanyi e-POWER do it?
