To solve the "endurance anxiety", we must create a "new energy vehicle friendly society"

The Spring Festival is approaching, and driving new energy vehicles to go home and travel has become the choice of more and more people. However, even if the number of charging piles in the high-speed service area has increased significantly compared with the past, the imbalance between supply and demand of charging piles is still widespread. In addition, there are many problems such as the occupancy of fuel vehicles and the unclear layout of charging piles. (Southern Metropolis Daily, January 25)

At present, the development of new energy vehicles is in full swing, and many European countries have even set a timetable for the future ban on the sale of fuel vehicles. Since 2010, the Chinese government has also actively embraced the wave of new energy vehicles, and has introduced a number of support policies such as subsidies for new energy vehicles, number-free and limited licenses. Among Chinese enterprises, in addition to bydir, Great Wall and other veteran car companies that have entered new energy, a number of new energy car-making forces such as Ideal and Weilai have emerged.

Compared with traditional fuel vehicles, new energy vehicles have a number of advantages such as low cost of vehicles and low noise, but for consumers, "endurance anxiety" is always the biggest obstacle before choosing new energy vehicles. At present, the new energy vehicle storage technology is developing rapidly, and the mileage of some pure electric models has been comparable to that of fuel vehicles, but the "endurance anxiety" of consumers has not been alleviated enough. On the one hand, the penetration rate of charging piles is still at a low level compared with gas stations, resulting in new energy vehicle owners having to carefully plan the route, once the power is insufficient, and can not find the nearest charging pile, the car can only fall into the dilemma of anchoring halfway. On the other hand, the charging time of electric vehicles is usually more than an hour, and the waiting time will be even longer once there is a queue. "Charging for one hour, queuing for four hours" is not a joke, during last year's National Day, the "famous scene" of car owners almost fighting for charging piles in the service area is still vivid. In addition, the division guidance of charging parking spaces in some high-speed service areas is not clear enough, and new energy vehicle owners often cannot find the location of charging piles, but fuel vehicles may mistakenly occupy charging parking spaces. The combination of these problems constitutes the "endurance anxiety" of new energy vehicle owners, which greatly affects the travel experience of new energy car owners.

New energy vehicles are the future trend of the automobile industry, and seizing the new energy vehicle market is the common choice of all countries in the world. While helping the development of new energy vehicles and guiding consumers to choose new energy vehicles, we should also pay attention to the construction of supporting infrastructure for new energy vehicles and improve the driving experience of new energy vehicle owners. Local governments should work with car companies to increase the penetration rate of charging piles as soon as possible to match the charging demand during peak holiday travel periods. At the same time, the idea of charging pile construction should not only be limited to expanding the amount of installation, but also a feasible path to increase investment in charging technology research. If the charging pile can be charged faster, or to achieve "one multi-charge" and increase the utilization rate of charging piles, consumers' "endurance anxiety" can also be alleviated to a certain extent. Local managers should also update their thinking, incorporate the charging needs of new energy vehicles into planning considerations, do a good job in the layout design of charging piles, improve the guidance logo, and exert efforts from the level of decision-making thinking to help new energy vehicles truly integrate into social transportation.

To promote the development of the new energy vehicle industry, it is necessary to improve the construction of relevant charging facilities and create a "new energy vehicle friendly society". Only by allowing new energy vehicles to be charged at any time, fast charging, and safe charging can we lay a "reassuring needle" for consumers' "endurance anxiety".
