Guangxi's regulations are that overtime vehicles refer to vehicles that take more than 12 hours to receive a pass card at the entrance toll station and travel from the exit toll station. For overtime vehicles, in the case of a smooth road section, the toll is charged at the entrance toll station furthest away from the exit toll station; in the case of the road section is not smooth, or due to vehicle accidents, repairs, accommodation and other reasons for overtime, the driver can provide relevant valid proof, according to the entrance toll station displayed on the pass card.
After using ETC, there is no timeout fee, because the vehicle's driving path can be recorded by the system. Since the second half of 2019, the mainland has begun to vigorously promote ETC, according to the requirements of the Ministry of Communications, by the end of 2019, the national vehicle ETC coverage rate must reach more than 90%.
