The reporter learned from the Guangdong Power Grid Company of China Southern Power Grid that during the Spring Festival this year, the Guangdong region of China Southern Power Grid put into operation nearly 4,000 public charging stations, more than 23,000 charging guns (excluding public transportation), a total of 519,700 charging times for service users, and generated 10.863 million kWh of charging, an increase of 147% year-on-year.

In order to make the travel of new energy vehicle owners more secure, Guangdong Power Grid Company rushed to put into operation 500 new charging piles in major high-speed service areas before the Spring Festival, and the total number currently exceeds 1800.

In the Licheng Service Area of Guangzhou Zengcheng on the Pearl River Delta Ring Expressway, 8 new charging piles have been "put on duty" before the Spring Festival, realizing intelligent and fast charging. "There are two 480 kW thermal charging piles and 6 120 kW conventional charging piles here, which can meet the needs of 16 electric vehicles to charge at the same time, and the fastest half an hour can fill a car." Li Jinshi, salesman of the marketing department of Guangzhou Zengcheng Power Supply Bureau, introduced.
