1. According to the charging method

(1) AC charging pile

1. Characteristics of AC charging pile

(2) The power of the AC charging pile is generally relatively small, the charging speed is relatively slow, after an electric vehicle is fully discharged, it usually takes about 8 hours to charge through the AC charging pile to be full.

(3) Protective function. AC charging piles should comply with IP54 (outdoors) and be equipped with rainproof and sunscreen devices to protect charging piles from rain. The charging pile electric pile shell door is equipped with an anti-theft lock, and the bolt that fixes the AC charging pile must be installed or removed after the shell door is opened. The iron shell of the charging pile and the exposed iron bracket and parts shall adopt double-layer anti-rust measures, and the non-ferrous metal shell shall have an anti-oxidation protective film or anti-oxidation treatment;

2. Characteristics of DC charging pile

(1) DC charging pile relative to AC charging pile, the size is relatively large, because the DC charging pile has a certain number of power modules inside, the higher the power, the greater the number of modules, the larger the pile. Suitable for installation in public areas.

(2) The DC charging pile can monitor the status of the battery, and automatically adjust the charging curve, charging current, and charging voltage according to the temperature of the battery, the charging current, and the charging voltage.

(3) Each DC charging pile comes with its own operator for the user to select the charging mode and operation guidance, and display the battery status of the electric vehicle and the user IC card tariff information to achieve unmanned management;

(4) DC charging pile can determine whether the charging connector and charging cable are correctly connected, after the connection is correct, the charger is allowed to start charging, and when the connection is not normal, it can immediately stop charging and issue an alarm message.

(5) DC charging pile is suitable for bus special charging pile, because of the nature of the work of the bus, generally using 200-350kw high-power DC charging pile, the bus runs back after a trip, the driver uses the rest of 10-15 minutes to charge the vehicle.

3. AC/DC integrated charging pile

(1) Provide human-computer interaction operation; provide DC and AC charging interfaces;

(2) Real-time communication with BMS to obtain information such as power battery type, single voltage, remaining capacity, temperature, alarm and so on;

(3) With the charging interface connection status judgment, interlocking, control guidance and other perfect safety protection control logic;

(4) With CAN2.0B, RS485 communication interface, it can communicate with centralized monitoring and send charging status information;

(5) With leakage, short circuit, overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent and other protection functions, to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the charging pile (plug), protection level IP54.
