In this era of rapid technological development, smartphones have become an indispensable part of our lives. We use our mobile phones every day, and we can hardly do without it for work, study, entertainment, and socializing. However, as the time spent on mobile phones increases, many people will find that the battery of mobile phones is draining faster and faster, which not only affects our experience, but also may make us have to charge frequently, or even consider replacing the battery, and the cost of replacing the battery is often higher. In fact, the life of the mobile phone battery is at least three or four years, as long as we set the following three switches, it is possible to restore the mobile phone battery to the state when it was newly bought, prolonging the battery life.
1. Replenish the battery and remove the virtual electricity.
First of all, we find and open the dial key in the bottom left corner on the desktop of our phone. Enter a specific combination of characters in the dialing screen: "*#*#2846579#*#*". Once the input is complete, a window will pop up on the screen showing the Project Menu option.
Once you're in the project menu, swipe down to find the "Replenish Power" option and tap it. You'll be prompted to make sure the battery is between 50% and 60% charged and that the battery temperature doesn't exceed 60°C. For example, my phone is currently 73% charged and has a temperature of 30°C, which is eligible for battery recharge. If the battery level is below 50%, you need to charge your phone to more than 50% before recharging it.
So, what exactly does it mean to recharge? In layman's terms, it is to remove the virtual power in the power of our mobile phone and make a correction to the mobile phone battery. Through this setting, we can make our mobile phone battery level display more accurate, and avoid the situation that the mobile phone suddenly shuts down or the battery drops too quickly due to virtual power.
2. Optimize the battery and allow the software to save energy.
Go back to your phone's home screen and open the Settings app. Enter "battery optimization" in the search bar at the top and click to enter the settings page.
In the Battery Optimization page, you'll see a list of all your installed apps. By default, most apps have a battery usage permission of "Not allowed". To extend battery life, we need to change the battery usage permissions for these apps to Allow. For example, for the Camera app, click to its details page and select the "Allow" option. This optimizes the app's background activity to reduce unnecessary battery consumption. For all apps, we recommend setting them to allow battery optimization, which can turn off the battery drain button of these apps and reduce the phone's battery consumption.
Through this setting, we can effectively manage the power consumption of various apps on our phone, making our phone battery more durable and extending the life of the battery.
3. Turn off background notifications to save power.
The last setting is to find "Notifications & Status Bar" in the settings, click on it, and then select "Bulk Management".
We can see that the switches on the back of all the apps here are turned on by default for background notifications, and this will also run secretly in the background, consuming our battery power.
To further save power, we recommend turning off notifications for apps you don't use often. For example, if you don't use a shopping or gaming app regularly, you can turn off notifications for it. This way, the app doesn't run frequently in the background, which reduces battery consumption. Of course, for commonly used social apps such as WeChat, DingTalk, and SMS, it is recommended to keep the notification switch turned on in order to receive important information in a timely manner.
