I've always dreamed of owning a luxury SUV of my own. In the summer of 2017, this dream finally came true when I bought my first Mercedes-Benz GLC.
In fact, I had plans to buy a car as early as 2016, but at that time, the appearance of the GLC was really difficult for me to accept, especially the "sausage mouth" shape, which was too greasy. So I had to wait until the 2017 facelift, the facelifted GLC look is simply lovely, its design is very atmospheric, the lines are smooth, no matter what age group drives, can show a unique charm.
I've been driving for so long, and basically there have been no problems. Some time ago, because the life of the battery was up, I replaced the car with a new battery. A friend recommended me to change the AVATA AGM battery, and he said that VARTA is a century-old brand in Germany and the quality is very reliable. After placing the order, the master of the nearby dealer quickly came to the door to install it. When I opened the car, I didn't expect that the original GLC factory used the VARTA AGM battery, which is no wonder it is so durable. From the order to the completion of the installation, it only took an hour, and the service of the big brand is reassuring.
Let's talk about the interior of the car, although the GLC does not have a super cool full LCD screen like the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, but the mechanical instrument also has its unique charm, which looks traditional and classic. Moreover, the failure rate of mechanical instruments is very low, and the later maintenance cost will not be too high.
None of my family members are very tall, and once when my mother and I went back to our hometown, the car was full of people and we didn't feel crowded. The luggage compartment is really big, and even if you don't put the rear seats flat, it can hold a lot more than a sedan. If you put the seat flat, it is even more powerful, and it is very convenient to lie down and rest during the outing
The precision of the steering wheel is very high, and it can be done in one and a half turns. The chassis is much more robust than the Lexus, the suspension is tuned more stiffly, and there is not much roll when cornering at high speeds, which gives a sense of security. Of course, such a tuning may sacrifice some comfort, but between handling and comfort, the GLC has found a perfect balance.
Now, our family is very satisfied with the GLC, it is not only a car, but also a good partner in our lives.
