As the top performance version of the new A6 Avant, the new RS 6 Avant builds on the former with wider body components and a more exaggerated body wrap-up design. For the first time, the RS 6 adopts a different front face design from the regular version, replaced by the exact same front layout as the RS 7 Sportback, with an exaggerated hexagonal grille with matrix LED laser headlights, a sharp front bumper and a wide body surround, making the whole car look more powerful. Of course, as Audi's best play, the new generation of RS 6 Avant still adopts the body design of the station wagon, and the elegant tail line has a more inclined D-pillar design than the previous generation.
At the rear, it uses the same rear wide light set as the new A6/S6 Avant model, which makes it more recognizable at night. In addition, the two-out oval exhaust on both sides at the bottom is a tradition of the Audi RS family, and the similar M-shaped trim strip above is also very colorful.
In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a 4.0TFSI twin-turbo V-type 8-cylinder engine, with a maximum power of 600 horsepower, a peak torque of 800 Nm, 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 3.6 seconds, and a maximum speed of 305 km/h after the optional Super Sports Package. In the driveline section, the new car is mated to an 8-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission and is equipped with a quattro system as well as adaptive air suspension.
