There are also many people who say that it was originally for money, but everyone should know that the concubines of the Central Army are short of money! Liu Qixiong, in December 1937, took part in the Defense of Nanjing, serving as the brigade commander of the 260th Brigade of the 87th Division. When Nanking fell, his troops were scattered and he himself was captured by the Japanese. When she first started, she concealed her identity and was used as a porter by the Japanese army.
But soon he was recognized by soldiers of the 260th Brigade, who were also captured, and subsequently reported.
Liu Qixiong's identity is not ordinary for the Japanese army, it is not only the first Chinese general who was captured by the Japanese army after the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japan, but also a graduate of the Whampoa Military Academy, and what is more special is that Liu Qixiong has served in the Nationalist Government Guard Army for many years and belongs to Chiang Kai-shek's concubine line.
The rational use of Liu Qixiong was a very favorable weapon for the Japanese army, which would give the Chinese army, especially the Central Army, a heavy blow. At the beginning, although Liu Qixiong's identity was revealed, he always refused the Japanese army's request to organize a puppet army.
In this way, for the next two years, Liu Qixiong spent time in Kaifeng as a prisoner of war. During this period, no one paid attention, no one came to the rescue, as if there was no such person as him in the Kuomintang army, two years was enough to make a huge change in a person's temperament.
In 1940, Wang Jingwei established a puppet national government and began to gather a large number of unemployed soldiers and local warlords, and on this basis, began the road of building a puppet army. Liu Qixiong, who has been a prisoner for two years, has also begun to be active in his heart. Under the continuous use of the Japanese army and Wang Pseudo, Liu Qixiong decided to go out of the mountains and take the road of saving the country.
For Liu Qixiong, he had a firm belief that his efforts were not to serve the Japanese army, but to serve Wang Jingwei's Nanjing government, and he could not say that he was a traitor.
Also having the same experience as Liu Qixiong are Liu Mingxia, Chen Xiaoqiang, Gao Hefei, Jin Yiwu and others.
Naturally, there are also some Huangpu sheng who take the initiative to defect to the enemy.
There are two kinds of active surrender to the enemy, one is for one's own interests, the real initiative to surrender to the enemy, and the other is to carry out special tasks and surrender to the enemy under orders.
Liu Yi, after the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japan, served as the deputy commander of the 167th Division as a major general. In the Battle of Madang in 1938, the 167th Division was defeated by the Japanese army, and although he broke through the siege with the remnants, he waited for a military trial. The loss of Madang by the 167th Division had a very serious impact on the battle situation, and the division commander was shot, and the deputy division commander Liu Yi and others were arrested.
After Liu Yi was imprisoned, under the guarantee of Liu Zhi, he was released on guarantee pending trial, and could not be reused from then on, in order to seek a new way out, he finally embarked on the road of saving the country. At that time, in the puppet National Government, There were only a few Huangpu students, let alone major generals, who were appointed by Wang Jingwei as the captain of the pseudo-Central Military Academy Cadet Corps, and a month later, he served as the commander of the pseudo-National Government Guard Brigade, responsible for guarding the puppet capital.
People who experienced the same as Liu Yi also included Huang Ziqi, Li Jimei, Zhang Haifan, Jiang Xianqi and others, for various reasons, in order to seek a new way out, thus joining the puppet army.
In addition, like Tang Shengming, Qian Xinmin was ordered by the military command to break into the Wang puppet clique and continuously send intelligence to Chongqing, making a lot of contributions to the intelligence front.
