"Wan Li China Soundscape Design Exhibition" was unveiled at the Golden Eagle Art Museum

From April 29th to July 31st, Nanjing Golden Eagle Art Museum held its first spring exhibition "Wanlai China Soundscape Design Exhibition". The exhibited works span the categories of sound and landscape design such as architectural design, urban design, landscape design, public design, music technology, public art, etc., connecting many disciplines, allowing the audience to experience and think about the basic medium of our perception of the world - sound - in the cloud cultural living room - Golden Eagle Art Museum at a height of 200 meters.

The name of the exhibition, "Wan Li", refers to the universe of soundscapes. Relying on works that span disciplines and media, an exhibition experience that can be heard, seen, read and traveled will open from the Golden Eagle Art Museum, transcending a single visual experience, and in a multi-dimensional, multi-perception, multi-level experience, the audience will have a better understanding of the world connected by sound and scenery. Through this exhibition, golden eagle art museum also aims to present a more diverse picture of Nanjing city and inject more energy into local cultural experiments and artistic actions.

"Contemporary soundscape design takes human vocal function as the core, creatively integrating the sound environment, sound information and sound technology into a new medium." Curator Lu Andong said: "Sound constitutes a possible bridge between technology and humanities in the future, and design provides a key blueprint for this bridge. "The works invited in this exhibition range from the sounds of cosmic space, the sounds of valley giants to the whispers under the eaves of the city. Together, they will present the infinite possibilities of soundscape design, a cutting-edge design field, and the challenges it brings to traditional design forms, thinking and tools.
