After Huang Wei was released from prison, he wanted to sweep the graves of two people, one was Fang Zhimin and the other was Chiang Kai-shek

There are two famous war criminals management centers in New China, one is the Fushun War Criminals Management Center in Liaoning Province, which is mainly japanese and puppet Manchu war criminals, and the other is the Gongdelin War Criminals Management Center outside the Desheng Gate in Beijing, where most of the Kuomintang generals and spies captured in the Liberation War are held.

Under the communist party's magnanimous and meticulous education, most war criminals can quickly repent, seriously reform, and constantly get amnesty and release from prison.

However, there are also a small number of stubborn war criminals who refuse to confess guilt and refuse to be reformed, so they have been detained for 27 years before finally being pardoned, such as Huang Wei, who is a typical representative of them.

After Huang Wei was released from prison, he wanted to sweep the graves of two people, one was Fang Zhimin and the other was Chiang Kai-shek

The reason why Huang Wei is difficult to transform is that he has the personality factor of his conceited and paranoid personality, and more is the influence of the idea of "foolish loyalty" in the traditional culture he received the day after tomorrow.

Huang Wei was born in 1904 in Guixi County, Jiangxi Province, a peasant family, his father died early, the family is poor, but the family still fights for everything to let him go to school, Huang Wei, who has a strong nature, is also very hardworking, and his grades are very good, these experiences, so that the sensitive Huang Wei has formed a contradictory personality of both conceit and inferiority, and he will not easily mingle with people.

This can be seen from an old incident in his Jiangxi Normal School: When Huang Wei was in Jiangxi Normal School, among the seniors was Fang Zhimin, who later became an outstanding general of our party.

When Fang Zhimin first met Huang Wei, he found that he was incompatible with everyone and looked disdainful of his surroundings, but fang Zhimin, who was generous and enthusiastic, still took the initiative to come forward to greet and introduce himself, while Huang Wei only coldly responded with the words "Huang Wei, fortunate to meet". Fang Zhimin did not consider Huang Wei's indifference and arrogance, continued to associate with him, and eventually influenced Huang Wei, who regarded him as his brother.

Fang Zhimin's influence on Huang Wei was great, especially his patriotic and patriotic feelings of serving the country, so that Huang Wei, who had originally planned to be a teacher, had the idea of throwing pens from Rong, so the two of them applied for the Whampoa Military Academy together.

However, Fang Zhimin was already a member of the Communist Party at that time, because of other tasks, he regretted that he did not take the exam in the end, but Huang Wei was successfully admitted to the Whampoa Military Academy and became classmates with Xu Xiangqian, Chen Geng, Hu Zongnan, Du Yuming and others.

It can be seen that Huang Wei is actually not a deep-rooted "reactionary class attribute", after being inspired by Fang Zhimin, he also once embarked on the road of revolution, but unfortunately, Fang Zhimin's later unfortunate sacrifice also made Huang Wei lose a good big brother, and from then on his life went in another direction.

Many years later, Huang Wei was pardoned, and he also paid tribute to Fang Zhimin, which shows that Huang Wei is a person with heavy feelings.

After Huang Wei entered the Whampoa Military Academy, because of his excellent results, he was cultivated by Chiang Kai-shek and promoted and reused all the way, and there is a small tidbit here.

Huang Wei's word is "enlighten me", but once Chiang Kai-shek wrote "pei me" in his reply letter to Huang Wei, which is actually Chiang Kai-shek's clerical error, but Huang Wei believes that this is a word that the principal deliberately changed for himself, which means to vigorously cultivate himself, so Huang Wei is grateful to Chiang Kai-shek, and since then he has taken "pei me" as his own word and followed Chiang Kai-shek farther and farther.

After being captured by the People's Liberation Army, people like Du Yuming and Wang Yaowu actively reformed, but Huang Wei always encouraged himself with "heroes and benevolent people", and often recited Yu Qian's "Lime Yin" and Wen Tianxiang's "Song of Righteous Qi", refused to admit his crimes, and never said a bad word about Chiang Kai-shek.

Many people know that Huang Wei is obsessed with the study of "perpetual motion machines" in the War Criminals Management Center, and some people think that he is obsessed with these technologies, but in fact, this is a soft confrontation that Huang Wei is evading transformation.

However, with the aim of curing the sick and saving people and not remembering the old evils, our party did not have any difficulty in huang Wei's attitude of resistance, but gave him full freedom, returned him funds and experimental materials, and helped him conduct research.

Moreover, Huang Wei suffered from a variety of tuberculosis, which was not very developed at the time when medical technology was not very developed, there were not many effective treatment techniques, and the only few special drugs had to spend a lot of foreign exchange to buy from Hong Kong or Macao, but even so, the state still vigorously treated him, and even when he was seriously ill and could not take care of himself, the medical staff also took special care of him.

These humanitarian concerns, full of human love, finally impressed Huang Wei, who gave up the idea of resistance and was finally pardoned in 1975.

After Huang Wei was released from prison, he became a staff member of the CHINESE People's Political Consultative Conference on literature and history, devoted himself to the study of kuomintang military history, and published many works recording the inside story of the Kuomintang, but Huang Wei still refused to say bad things about Chiang Kai-shek, not only that, he also always hoped to go to Taiwan to visit Chiang Kai-shek's grave.

In 1989, the Taiwan side relaxed the policy of visiting relatives of separated families on both sides of the strait, and a large number of Kuomintang veterans returned to the mainland to visit their relatives.

At that time, it had been many years of reform and opening up, Huang Wei could accept interviews from the Hong Kong and Taiwan media, and a reporter asked him if the Taiwan side promised him that he could stay in Taiwan and give him a supplementary title to pursue salary, would he agree?

Huang Wei replied:

"I will not stay in Taiwan, nor will I accept compensation for military ranks or anything; I am only visiting Taiwan to visit relatives and friends and to sweep the graves of Chiang Kai-shek.

In addition, Huang Wei also wrote a letter to the Huangpu students in Taiwan, calling on everyone to:

"Pray for the reunification of the motherland, people have the same heart, the same heart, if reunification is realized at an early date, I should personally go to Taiwan and talk to you about the wine."

But unfortunately, just before Huang Wei was about to leave, he died of a sudden heart attack and failed to realize this wish.
