Shao Shiping was unable to continue studying several times because of poverty, but fortunately, his relatives and neighbors around him looked at him pitifully and gave him a lot of help, so Shao Shiping could continue to study and met Fang Zhimin, a like-minded friend. The two were often inseparable in school, because of the similarity of family background and the same ambition, and although they were briefly separated for a while because of school problems, they were still together under the impetus of the revolution.

During the Liberation War, Shao Shiping served in northern Shaanxi, Yan'an and northeast China, and although he was not on the front line, he never stopped contributing to the country. Many people may say, why did Shao Shiping do so much, but did not get the qualification for the title in the 1955 award ceremony?
In fact, this is related to the relevant regulations, before the award ceremony, Shao Shiping had left the army and assumed the position of secretary of the Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee. According to the principle of conferring titles, personnel who leave the military system no longer participate in the conferment of titles, so Shao Shiping cannot participate in the conferment ceremony.
