Yang Peng, secretary of the party branch and deputy manager of the State Grid Hunan Electric Vehicle Hengyang Business Department, introduced that in 2021, a total of 188 piles will be completed in the city, and as of now, there are 57 stations in the city and more than 320 charging piles, which can meet the charging needs of Hengyang new energy electric vehicles.

Yang Peng said that in 2022, it will seize the opportunity of the rental, online booking, and green distribution electrification market to seize high-quality public sites and build a comprehensive function charging station for drivers' homes, which can provide owners with integrated functions such as rest and dining. At the same time, the old residential areas and newly built residential residents' charging facilities are carried out in a unified and orderly charging pilot, and in linkage with car companies, the service model of "car purchase and electricity - pile connection - charging service - value-added service" is implemented to provide one-stop delivery experience for car owners.

In recent years, the State Grid Hunan Electric Vehicle Hengyang Business Department has actively responded to the national "double carbon" goal and the call for "new infrastructure", closely focused on the "green development leading" goal, vigorously carried out charging infrastructure construction, and comprehensively improved the coverage rate of charging piles.
