The Red Army has many teams that can attack and defend, among which the Red 3 Corps has a tenacious fighting style and the ability to turn the tide, in his team, there are many fierce generals, and today I will introduce a few:
1. Huang Kecheng
A native of Hunan, he participated in the Shonan Rebellion in 1928 and later went to Jinggangshan. In 1930, he worked in the Red 5 Army, and soon after, he participated in the attack on the fortified city wall. Huang Kecheng rushed to the front with a steel gun and a saber on his back, climbed up the ladder quickly, and then danced a large knife on the city wall to fight the enemy. Inspired by him, the Red Army multiplied its courage and captured the city with a single blow.
During the Long March, Huang Kecheng served as the political commissar of the 4th Division, and for a long time opened the way in front. During the Battle of xiangjiang, in the face of several times the enemy's death, he did not retreat, and successfully covered the main force of the Red Army to cross the Xiangjiang River in the west.
2. Li Tianyou
A native of Guangxi, born in 1914, he joined the Red Army in 1929 and was transferred to the 3rd Army in 1931. Li Tianyou was a typical "little red devil" in the Red Army, but he did not lose the "big brother" in the war, and often went into battle shirtless. When he attacked Ganzhou in 1932, he bravely climbed the city wall and was shot 3 times. Because of his bravery in battle, he was promoted to regimental commander at the age of 19 (1933). During the Eastern Expedition to Fujian, the 366th Regiment of the Enemy's so-called Iron Army was annihilated by one regiment, creating a brilliant example of 1 regiment of the Red Army annihilating one regiment of the enemy.
3. Huang Zhen
Hubei native, joined the Red Army in 1930, because of the bravery of the battle, soon in the Red 3Rd Army from squad leader to battalion commander, in 1932 then the regimental commander.
Huang Zhen fought bravely and strategically. Regular warfare and guerrilla warfare are fought handily. When encountering a small number of enemies, they concentrate their forces to surround and annihilate them. When encountering a large number of enemies, they will continue to harass, fatigue, and disperse the enemy with small troops, and when they are isolated, they will quickly raid and leave as soon as they are finished.
During the Long March, Huang Zhen served as the commander of the 13th Regiment of the Red 3rd Army, opening the way for the Red Army in the front. When crossing the Wu River, the second jumped on the pontoon bridge and charged at the opposite bank. After the reorganization of the Red Army, the Red 3rd Army abolished the division level and downgraded it to 4 regiments, and most of the cadres were demoted to use, but Huang Zhen still served as the regimental commander.
Huang Zhen reached northern Shaanxi after a victorious Long March. But unfortunately, he died heroically in the battle of Wuqi Town, and like Wang Kaixiang and others, he sacrificed his life for our happy life today.
