Short-term engagement, "resurrection from the dead"
The Outbreak of the Central Plains War in May 1930 weakened the strength of various factions within the Kuomintang to a certain extent, and invisibly provided a powerful development condition for the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army. At the end of June, the Third Army of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army, under the leadership of its commander Peng Dehuai, marched south and was invincible all the way, and Lianke Chongyang, Yuezhou and Pingjiang gradually gained a reputation in Hunan and gained a firm foothold.
On July 27 of that year, the Red Third Army took advantage of the fact that He Jian, chairman of the Hunan Provincial Government, led the main force to pursue the Gui warlords and the lax guards of Changsha, and easily conquered Changsha, the capital of Hunan Province, which shocked the top level of the National Government. Subsequently, Peng Dehuai had great foresight, judged the hour and sized up the situation, and promptly led his troops to withdraw from Changsha and went to the Pingjiang and Liuyang areas to recuperate before He Jian, chairman of the Hunan Provincial Government (before joining the revolution, Peng Dehuai had been He Jian's superior and knew quite well of his military command capabilities).
At that time, Huang Kecheng served as the political commissar of the second detachment of the Third Red Army.
The important town of Changsha in Hunan was conquered by the Red Army, and Chiang Kai-shek and the Kuomintang top brass suddenly felt that they had lost face and were furious. Therefore, Chiang Kai-shek gave He Jian a death order to destroy the Red Third Army at all costs.
He Jian gathered the strength of seven regiments and frantically rushed along the Pingjiang River toward the garrison of our Red Third Army. Huang Kecheng led two detachments to take on the task of blocking the enemy. Due to the enemy's outnumbered and outnumbered, In the melee, Huang Kecheng lost contact with the large troops.

After dark, Huang Kecheng finally found his troops according to the sound of gunfire. But at this time, his glasses were gone, and his body was covered with grass and dirt. The soldiers all thought that the commissar was no longer there and were preparing to avenge him, but suddenly they saw the commissar who had been "sacrificed" and was standing in front of everyone alive, intact.
Encountered duds, miracles survived
In July 1931, the Kuomintang's 300,000 troops divided into multiple routes to carry out the third anti-"encirclement and suppression" of the Central Soviet Region.
Huang Kecheng led his troops to repulse the enemy's attacks on many occasions, laying the foundation for comprehensively smashing the enemy's anti-"encirclement and suppression" campaign. In a battle, Huang Kecheng led his troops to chase after the fleeing enemy, vowing to annihilate the fleeing enemy completely. At this moment, the Kuomintang sent aircraft to reinforce, and began to dive and strafe above the heads of the Red Army soldiers.
Huang Kecheng ordered his troops to pursue the fleeing enemy while instructing the soldiers to avoid enemy aircraft. Who ever thought that a plane was flying at a low altitude towards Huang Kecheng, and when it reached the top of his head, it dropped a bomb and landed right next to him. Without time to think about it, Huang Kecheng immediately fell to the ground and protected the key part. Time passed minute by minute, and Huang Kecheng's heart also mentioned the throat eye, but he never heard the explosion.
Huang Kecheng had the audacity to look at the bomb, only to see that the aircraft bomb stood impartially in the dirt, and half of his body was deeply drilled into the soil, revealing that some of the lines on the ground did not move, and even the smoke did not come out. This is a "stink bomb", Huang Kecheng subconsciously thought, so he took a long breath, quickly stood up, and led the soldiers to continue to chase after the fleeing enemy.
Having a second pair of "eyes" invites the disaster of killing
But all people with myopia wear glasses with high or low degrees to improve vision, glasses, and have become the second pair of "eyes" and indispensable "treasures" of myopia.
Huang Kecheng is no exception, whether it is marching and fighting, or in daily life, he has never left his glasses, and without his glasses, he can't see anything. In 1933, Huang Kecheng served as the political commissar of the Fourth Division of the Third Red Army. Suddenly, after a fierce gunshot, a row of evil bullets attacked the two commanders of the Fourth Division, Zhang Xilong could not dodge, one of them hit the head, and immediately fell on his back; and this bullet seemed to have eyes, after passing through Zhang Xilong's head, it rushed to Huang Kecheng, fortunately, the bullet had already unloaded its strength, had no strength, rubbed Huang Kecheng's temple, only to break his glasses leg and break the eye frame.
Huang Kecheng once again had a great difficulty not to die.
Huang Kecheng, who had no glasses, could not see anything for a moment, but his reaction was still relatively fast, and he immediately fell to the ground, his hands groping wildly on the ground, looking for his glasses. Unexpectedly, the glasses were not found, but a bloody corpse was found. Huang Kecheng let out an exclamation and immediately took out another pair of spare glasses from his jacket pocket and put them on.
When his sight was restored, Huang Kecheng couldn't help but be stunned--the division commander Zhang Xilongtou was pierced by a bullet, and blood was gushing out, and he had already been sacrificed. Huang Kecheng was greatly saddened, and hot tears slowly flowed down the corners of his eyes.
