Professors of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications won the 6th "Woodpecker Cup" Literary and Art Criticism Annual Award of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles

  On January 13, the sixth "Woodpecker Cup" Chinese Literary and Art Review Annual Promotion and Release Ceremony was held in Beijing. Professor Fan Jianhua of the School of Media and Art of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications's thesis "Poverty Alleviation Theme Film and Television Creation Should Also Be Artistically Sublimated" was awarded excellent literary and art criticism works.

  While affirming the achievements made in the creation of the theme of poverty alleviation, the work also pays attention to the phenomenon of disrespect for the laws of art in creation. The article adheres to the creative concept of unifying ideology and artistry, prescribes the right medicine, is reasonable and evidence-based, and carries out constructive professional criticism with a realistic attitude, which is of positive significance for improving the artistic appeal of the theme film and television creation of poverty alleviation.

  It is understood that the "Woodpecker Cup" selection is sponsored by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the China Literary and Art Critics Association, and is the highest level award of Chinese literary and art criticism, covering literature, drama, film, television, music, dance, fine arts, photography, calligraphy, music art, acrobatics, folk art and art theory. The activity aims to launch outstanding literary and art criticism works, promote the innovation and prosperity of national literary and art criticism, and promote the healthy development of literary and artistic undertakings.

  In 2021, the sixth "Woodpecker Cup" Chinese Literary and Art Criticism Annual Promotion Activity was divided into three projects: annual excellent literary and art criticism works, annual excellent literary and artistic long-term evaluation articles, and annual excellent literary and art short-term evaluation articles, and received a total of 548 submitted works, including 62 works, 307 long-term reviews, and 179 short-term reviews, and finally selected 5 annual excellent literary and art criticism works, 20 annual excellent literary and art long-term evaluation articles, and 10 annual excellent literary and art short-term evaluation articles.
