Anxious to replenish the body after the operation, the sixty-year-old drew "milk blood"

Milk blood.

Red Net Moment, January 18 (Correspondent Yang Feike Qin Lu) 62-year-old Chen Gang (pseudonym) underwent surgery for "rectal cancer" a year ago. One year after the operation, he came to changsha central hospital (Changsha central hospital affiliated to the University of South China) for geriatrics for review. "Do not check do not know, a check is frightened", the blood drawn is white "milk blood", the test results show that his blood lipids are seriously exceeded, triglycerides 26.74mmol / L (normal value 0.55-1.70), total cholesterol 9.18mmol / L (normal value 3.40-5.20).

Hearing the diagnosis results, Chen Gang himself was shocked. To reconfirm, he asked the doctor to check it again. This time, Chen Gang deliberately ate only a few mouthfuls of green vegetables and a small half bowl of rice the night before the examination, but the blood lipid results of the re-examination the next morning were still excessive, and the diagnosis was consistent. Chen Gang told Chen Wei, deputy director and chief physician of the Department of Geriatrics, that in the year after the operation, he believed that he should make up for himself, in addition to the various stews of chicken, duck and fish meat, breakfast was lard mixed with powder every three to five years, and it was in this year that Chen Gang's weight rose and increased by 6kg.

Chen Wei introduced that "milk blood" is called chyle blood in medicine, figuratively speaking, "blood with oil slicks" or "lipid blood". This is a pathological manifestation, mostly related to bad lifestyle habits such as eating greasy foods and drinking alcohol for a long time. Chen Gang is because of improper postoperative supplementation, long-term eating of greasy food, resulting in increased blood lipids. Because many people have dyslipidemia in the early stage but do not have any uncomfortable symptoms, which is not enough to attract the attention of patients, the continued development often ends with cardiovascular and peripheral vascular arteriosclerosis disease, with serious consequences, known as the "silent killer".

Chen Wei reminded that the correct prevention and treatment of hyperlipidemia in life should do the following three points:

1. Reasonable diet. Eat less "bad" fats and reduce sugar intake. Limit the intake of saturated and trans fats, such as fatty meats, animal oils, fried foods; control the intake of refined carbohydrates, and eat less desserts, including white rice, white noodles, pastries, candy, sugary drinks, juices, etc. Eat lightly and eat few snacks.

2. Exercise appropriately and control weight. Exercise can increase consumption, improve lipid metabolism, prevent increased body fat and blood lipids, and also increase the content of high-density lipoprotein (HDL), a lipoprotein that fights atherosclerosis, improve heart function, increase the lateral circulation of the heart, and thus also play a good role in preventing and treating coronary heart disease.

3. Quit smoking and limit alcohol. Smoking is the number one risk factor for the development of hyperlipidemia, because the harmful substances in cigarettes will gradually damage the epithelial cells of blood vessels, enlarging the gaps between epithelial cells, causing blood lipids to flow with the blood through this blood vessel, like sediment in water through the gaps of epithelial cells, depositing blood clots in the blood vessel wall. Alcohol is also a heat bomb, containing 29 kJ (7 kcal) of energy per gram of alcohol. Although alcohol cannot be converted directly into fat in the body, the energy it produces can replace the energy produced by fats, carbohydrates and proteins in food.
