Zhen Huan is the protagonist of the classic palace fighting drama "The Biography of Zhen Huan in the Harem", which is based on Qianlong's birth mother, Empress Xiaoshengxian. Historically, although Empress Xiaoshengxian once ruled the harem of the Qing Dynasty for four years as a concubine (yongzheng ninth year to yongzheng thirteenth year), she faced a fierce enemy, and she was the An Gui person to be talked about in this article.
In fact, there is an An Gui in the "Biography of Zhen Huan", she is An Lingrong, who made friends with Zhen Huan when she first entered the palace, and later parted ways to turn to the empress, opposing Zhen Huan, and finally ended up with a miserable end of suffering almonds and committing suicide. Although the historical An Gui was not as miserable as An Lingrong, the data shows that she probably had friction with Empress Xiaoshengxian (zhen huan prototype).
The historical An Gui was named An Chunxiao, the daughter of An Mou, the yanjing salt transport envoy, and belonged to the Han Army Banner, so An Gui should have entered the imperial palace through the Eight Flags Draft. In ancient society, salt transportation made this a fat difference, although the level is not high, but it is rich in oil, so the family situation of An Gui people should be very good.
About the beginning of the Yongzheng year, An Guiren was elected to the imperial palace, initially divided into nobles, from the perspective of the pattern of the harem of the Qing Dynasty at that time, empress Wulanara clan, guifei Nian clan, Qi concubine Li clan, Xi concubine Niu Hulu clan, Yu concubine Geng clan and Mao concubine Song clan, these are all the old people of the Yongzheng submerged residence, like An Guiren, a newcomer who has just entered the court, can be directly named a noble, it is already very good.
Facts have proved that Yongzheng really has a special love for this An Gui, and in just a few years, An Gui has been promoted two levels in a row, from a noble person to a concubine, on the same level as Qi Fei and Xi Fei. However, Compared with Concubine Qi, Concubine Xi, and Concubine Yu, An Guiren had a major disadvantage, that is, there were no heirs, and Concubine Qi, Concubine Xi, and Concubine Yu all had their own sons, namely the Three Brothers Hongshi, the Fourth Brother Hongli, and the Five Brothers Hongzhi.
However, soon Concubine Qi and her son Hongshi withdrew from the competition, and at that time, An Guiren was pampered and arrogant, and it was inevitable that he would clash with Concubine Xi. But from the ninth year of Yongzheng, Xi Guifei began to rule the harem of the Qing Dynasty, and we should also imagine how she and An Guiren were, saying that it was a sword rattling, a bit exaggerated, but certainly not too good.
However, only a few years later, Yongzheng suddenly died in the Yuanmingyuan, An Guiren lost his patron in an instant, and Concubine Xi Guifei was honored as the empress dowager by virtue of the succession of her son Hongli, and for a time, she became the most powerful woman in the Forbidden City. Sure enough, only two months after Qianlong succeeded to the throne, he suddenly ordered that An Guiren be reduced from a concubine to a nobleman, which was equivalent to entering the Cold Palace.
As a result, An Guiren became the only concubine of the Qing Dynasty to be demoted by the new emperor.
After that, An Guiren lost her personal freedom, lived a boring and tedious life in the Cold Palace every day, suffered from the cold eyes and disdain of the palace people, and did not know how tormented and helpless she should have been at that time, just like this, An Guiren endured for fourteen years, and died around the fourteenth year of Qianlong, and the age was estimated to be around 40 years old.
After An Guiren's death, Qianlong still gave the former emperor's concubine a few thin noodles, and did not bury her outside the imperial tomb, but buried her in the Tailing Concubine Garden.
My point of view: An Guiren can be said to be the most easily overlooked woman in the Yongzheng Harem, she once sat on the concubine seat, the scenery for a while, and even did not put Empress Xiaoshengxian (Xi Guifei) in her eyes, but it was this arrogance and persistence that laid the foundation for her tragic end. Therefore, no matter where you are, you must learn to deal with interpersonal relationships with the people around you, if not, you are likely to fall behind.
