Liu Bang's wife Lü Yan is also a powerful character. Lü Yan cut off Lady Qi's hands and feet, and goun out her eyes to become an adult, and after Liu Bang's death, Lü Hou vigorously supported her son and constantly increased the strength of her own family, just to better support Liu Ying and consolidate the rule of Emperor Hui of Han.
