As early as 2020, the State Key Laboratory of Ultra-high-definition Video and Audio Production and Broadcasting of the Central Radio and Television Corporation successfully developed a 4K ultra-high-definition monitor together with Hisense, and the technical quality has reached the international advanced product level, filling the gap in the field of 4K ultra-high-definition professional monitor technology in China. At present, the production of 4K ultra-high-definition programs in the Central Radio and Television Station and some local television stations has adopted the 4K monitor produced by Hisense. It is understood that during the 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games, the Central Radio and Television Corporation deployed Hisense 31P9F monitors in sports production-related studios for studio signal monitoring. Previously, Hisense Video also revealed on the investor interactive platform that Hisense benchmark broadcast monitors will be used for the production, broadcast and live broadcast of many large-scale events such as the Beijing Winter Olympics. The Winter Olympics will be one of the windows to showcase the company's technical strength in the video field.

Benchmark monitors are high-end segments of the broadcast monitor market. The reference-level broadcast monitor is known as the "ruler of image quality", which is the basis for professionals to measure, judge and decide on images, so the requirements for detail, grayscale, clarity, service life, color reproduction contrast and reliability are extremely demanding, and are also regarded as "rice protocells" in the field of image quality in the industry. Previously limited by technology, the broadcast monitor in china's radio and television field was basically monopolized by Japanese brands such as Sony, JVC, and Panasonic, and the pricing was expensive, such as a 32-inch monitor usually around 300,000 yuan.

According to third-party agency data, the global market size of the entire broadcast-grade monitor reached $10.95 billion in 2020. Mainly covering the radio and television industry, film and television industry, in recent years, the emerging self-media industry has also become an important growth point of broadcast-grade monitors.

In September last year, Hisense released China's first 30-inch 4K benchmark monitor with independent intellectual property rights, breaking the monopoly of domestic radio and television monitors by Japanese brands. This also makes Hisense the first manufacturer in China to have the core technology of broadcast-level benchmark monitors.

The 8K large screen display allows the audience to see clearer picture quality, a wider viewing angle, and see texture and detail far beyond 4K, so as to obtain immersive realism and immersion. In recent years, Hisense Video has played its own research and development advantages in 8K transmission, decoding, display, etc., and has continued to build 8K professional image display solutions, and has the ability of 8K full-link solutions. Recently, Hisense launched the first China fully self-developed 8K AI picture quality chip is an important core component of the 8K industry chain. Relying on its unique advantages in the field of chips, Hisense Video's broadcast-grade benchmark monitors and other products with market competitiveness and technical content have formed a complete and vertical industrial chain from chips to complete machines. As Hisense Vision has begun to produce ultra-high-definition display quality processing chips that support 8K resolution, the world's first 8K laser TV will also be released this year.
