In order to let the children of our city spend a holiday full of love, recently, sponsored by the Zhuhai Women's Federation, co-hosted by the Xiangzhou District Women's Federation, zhuhai Child Protection Association, and Xiangzhou District Social Mental Health Service Center, the "Bring Love Home" 2022 winter vacation child care service activity was officially launched in the hall of the Xiangzhou District Social Mental Health Service Center, and 60 children from disadvantaged families and their families in the city were invited to participate.
Yang Hongmei, secretary of the party group and chairman of the Zhuhai Women's Federation, representatives of the Municipal Civilization Office, the Municipal Education Bureau, the Civil Affairs Bureau, the Municipal Public Security Bureau and other relevant departments were sent to attend, Huang Fang, secretary of the party group and chairman of the Xiangzhou District Women's Federation, and Li Yuqing, director of the Xiangzhou District Social Mental Health Service Center, participated in the activity to jointly "help with love" for children in distress.
At the event, Comrade Yang Hongmei, on behalf of the Municipal Women's Federation, expressed her heartfelt thanks to supporting family education, children's growth and development, and friends from all walks of life in our city, and introduced the specific content of the national and provincial women's federations on "bringing love home" in the winter vacation of 2022, making work arrangements for women's federations at all levels in the city, and calling on social caring people to work together to create a good social atmosphere of "children first" and "the most beneficial to minors".
At the event, the Zhuhai Women's Federation, the Xiangzhou District Women's Federation, Gree Electric Appliances, and the Zhuhai Child Protection Association presented a love package to the representatives of children in distress who attended the event, encouraging the children to maintain a positive attitude towards life, work hard to learn knowledge, and let them feel the love and warmth of the Women's Federation family.
After the launching ceremony, the staff of the Xiangzhou District Social Mental Health Service Center led the children and their families from the distressed families to each functional room for experience punching. Under the warm reception and patient guidance of the central teacher, the children experienced the 3-6-year-old AR somatosensory interaction, parent-child picture book theater, psychological science popularization hall, emotional catharsis room, psychological sandbox room, etc. The children were fully engaged, releasing pressure to the fullest, and the interesting emotional counseling activities narrowed the distance between parents and children, so that the children felt the emotional response brought about by different inner experiences, and took the children to have a preliminary understanding of emotions.
The center also arranged a parent-child emotional lecture hall for the families present, by guiding the family and the children to communicate, discuss and share with each other, to help the children understand their dominant emotions, feel the impact of different emotions on life, behavior and health, encourage children to seek correct emotional management methods, and establish a good emotional concept.
In the corner of the activity, a "micro wish" collection box was also set up for the children as a reference material for the fun activities afterwards.
