This person was the second Whampoa principal after Chiang Kai-shek, and even Du Yuming and Zheng Dongguo were his subordinates

Everyone knows that Chiang Kai-shek was the first president of the Whampoa Military Academy, and the students who graduated from the Whampoa Military Academy all called him "the principal", like the generals in other places who are called "chairman of the committee", and the people who can also call the principal are Chiang Kai-shek's concubine troops.

In 1947, Chiang Kai-shek, who was busy with his duties, gave up his position as principal and handed it over to General Guan Linzheng, who graduated from the first phase of Huangpu, but he was a general who could fight and was also good at using troops, and after experiencing the Eastern Expedition, the Northern Expedition, the Great War of the Central Plains, the Eight-Year War of Resistance, and other experiences, he was already a battle general who had experienced hundreds of years, so it was more than enough for him to serve as the second principal of the Huangpu Military Academy, so Guan Linzheng became the second Huangpu principal after Chiang Kai-shek.

Let's take a look at General Guan Linzheng's record.

Guan Linzheng, a native of Yanxian County, Shaanxi Province, was admitted to the Whampoa Military Academy under the introduction of Mr. Yu Yourenlao, a university scholar of the Republic of China, but in fact, Du Yuming and Zhang Lingfu were both recommended to the Whampoa Military Academy by Mr. Yu Lao.

In this passage, he was lectured by Sun Yat-sen, and this passage impressed him deeply: "Not only to be a highly talented soldier, but also to be a soldier who is not afraid of suffering and death", which has a great impact on Guan Linzheng.

After graduating from the military academy, his first battle was the Crusade against Chen Jiongming, it may be said that every Whampoa first-term student must go through the battle, in this battle he also ushered in the first battle of his life, he took the lead in attacking the enemy city, the battle was very brave, but also because his knee was shot, because he was not treated in time, excessive blood loss, the entire thigh was paralyzed, when the doctor recommended amputation, amputation means the loss of a thigh, which is simply terrible for the soldier to lose his life.

If Guan Linzheng really lost a thigh, maybe his military career would end here, but here, he met the first nobleman in his life, Liao Zhongkai, when Liao Zhongkai went to the hospital to comfort the officers and soldiers, at this time Guan Linzheng knew that he was going to have his leg amputated, his mood was very grumpy, and he did not cooperate with the treatment, just happened to be seen by Liao Zhongkai who passed by, and asked what happened?

Only then did I learn the reason for this, it was precisely because Liao Zhongkai insisted on opposing the direction, consulted with the doctor, and asked for careful treatment, so as to save Guan Linzheng's thigh, and whenever he recalled the past for many years, he was always grateful to Mr. Liao, saying that he was a good person.

After experiencing this disaster, Guan Linzheng fought more and more courageously in the war after the war, which also reflected the good and courageous side of the Qin people, and with the continuous increase of military achievements, Guan Linzheng's position was also promoted from the original company commander to brigade commander, when Du Yuming was the commander of his subordinate regiment.

In June 1932, the Guan Brigade was ordered to accompany Xu Tingyao's Fourth Division to attack the Eyu-Anhui Soviet Area, forcing the Red Army to move, which made Chiang Kai-shek very happy, and then the Guan Brigade was promoted to guan division, numbered 25th Division (also the famous ace division Qianliju Division later), 25th Division (Qianliju Division), under the jurisdiction of two brigades, namely Du Yuming and Zhang Yaoming. The 25th Division was trained by Guan Linzheng and quickly became an ace division that was accurate, fierce, and good at sharp attacks.

In March 1933, Guan Linzheng was ordered to lead the 25th Division with xu Tingyao, commander of the 17th Army, to the north to participate in the Great Wall Resistance, which was also the first time Guan Linzheng fought with the Japanese army, he personally led a regiment to fiercely counterattack the Japanese army, in the battle with the enemy Guan Linzheng was injured by the Japanese grenade, covered in blood, but he insisted on not retreating, fought with the enemy, and finally repelled the enemy occupied the highest ground, but the 25th Division also suffered heavy casualties after this battle, retreated to the rear to rest, and Guan Linzheng also won the Qingtian White Sun Medal for his bravery in fighting with the Japanese army.

However, after the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Guan Linzheng was promoted to commander of the Fifty-second Army, and the two division commanders were the Second Division (Division Commander Zheng Dongguo) and the Twenty-fifth Division (Division Commander Zhang Yaoming), who threw themselves into the War of Resistance Against Japan.

In the later War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Guan Linzheng's heroic command also won him the title of Guan Tie Fist, especially in the Battle of Changsha, he found the fighter plane, took the initiative to attack, and gathered and recovered the lost land, so he was promoted to the commander-in-chief of the 15th Group Army, becoming the second person in Huangpusheng to succeed Hu Zongnan, and in the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, he was the commander-in-chief of the group army.

However, in the War of Liberation, Guan Linzheng gradually lost Chiang Kai-shek's trust because he was unwilling to fight a civil war, and thus lost his military power, and finally transferred him to serve as the principal of the Whampoa Military Academy.
