The most powerful mother of the Republic of China, trained 4 central committee members, before leaving, I did not know that 2 sons had died

Before the founding of New China, there was such a woman who made outstanding contributions to our country, her life was full of legends, and she was called "the amazing woman of the twentieth century" and "the mother of the revolution" by the world, and her name was Ge Jianhao.

Ge Jianhao was born in August 1865, it was a time of "broken mountains and rivers", the people were displaced, the country was invaded by great powers, Ge Jianhao's father and Zeng Guofan, who held power at that time, had an in-law relationship, so her childhood was not particularly affected by war.

Although Ge Jianhao's family was not very famous, it was protected by two of the three major families at that time - the first was the Zeng family, which was related by marriage, and the second was Ge Jianhao's mother's Ge family after he grew up.

With such a dual background as a patron, Ge Jianhao's family is also very wealthy, so she has no worries about food and clothing since she was a child, compared with many of her peers, she is more able to contact advanced knowledge first, and it is easier to get to know talented scholars.

Of course, Ge Jianhao's father also attaches great importance to his daughter's education, and she herself is also very intelligent and has her own views on many things, so his father sent her to study with her brother, which also laid a certain foundation for her later actions.

When she was sixteen years old, Ge Jianhao married the son of the rich Cai Shousong, which was also the "doll kiss" set by her father, and women in that era were generally married at home as housewives and lived a life of ordinary life.

But Ge Jianhao, who was exposed to new ideas, was clearly not an ordinary woman, and she has continued to pay attention to social dynamics since then.

At that time, the person who really changed Ge Jianhao's life was Qiu Jin, a rare female revolutionary of that era, who had published many articles to criticize the shortcomings of the times, and then later devoted her life to the revolutionary cause.

Ge Jianhao and Qiu Jin lived not far away, so Ge Jianhao often visited the female revolutionary, so the two had the opportunity to discuss national affairs together, and Ge Jianhao's thinking gradually changed from her.

In 1912, the Xinhai Revolution failed, and Qiu Jin also died in 1907, in addition to mourning Qiu Jin, Ge Jianhao also realized a problem - the Xinhai Revolution is very incomplete, for example, many areas have not been affected by the revolution, and the lives of the people have not changed, because people's thinking has not changed, and it is still very imprisoned.

So she felt that she should learn from Qiu Jin, and to be thorough, she must emancipate the people's minds. The enlightenment of thought begins with education, and education begins with oneself.

So Ge Jianhao, who was nearly fifty years old at the time, took several of his children to the academy, including even her granddaughter - women at that time were very socially unfit, and whether a woman could be respected often depended on whether her husband had power, but Ge Jianhao was very strong and not disrespected because he accepted new ideas.

After several years of study, Ge Jianhao went home and founded a girls' school, in order to allow more women to receive advanced education, Ge Jianhao rarely collects tuition, in the school she vigorously promotes feminist ideas, instilling a lot of emancipation for students.

However, due to a serious conflict with the mainstream ideas at that time, her girls' school was hindered and finally had to be abandoned. After this incident, she went to France and began her study abroad career.

When she was studying in France, it was also her most difficult time--because she was not familiar with the land, no one could take care of her; and she had to take care of her whole family and even participate in some revolutionary movements in addition to her own studies.

However, although the days were difficult, they also cultivated her strong willpower. Of course, living with this great mother, her two sons and two daughters are also very strong, and under the influence of their mother, they also began to participate in the revolutionary movement, of which their sons Cai Hesen and daughter Cai Chang are the most famous.

Later, the sons Cai and Sen met Xiang Jingyu, and the daughter Cai Chang fell in love with Li Fuchun, and with the support of their mother Ge Jianhao, they married freely and became husband and wife. The family of five began to work for the revolutionary cause. Later, Cai Hesen, Xiang Jingyu and his wife, Cai Chang and Li Fuchun, and four others all became members of the Central Committee of our Party. There is also a son, Cai Luxian, and a daughter, Cai Qingxi, who also made great contributions to the revolution.

From 1923 onwards, for a better revolution, her children began to return to China one after another, and in order to cover their children, Ge Jianhao also returned to China and became their strong backing. She first lived in Changsha and later moved to her hometown of Yongfeng to spend her old age.

In her later years, her life was very poor, and after the Kuomintang began to cooperate in the war against Japan, the party once wanted to take Ge Jianhao to Yan'an, but she insisted on not leaving because she did not want to increase the burden.

In 1943, Ge Jianhao died at the age of 78. Before his death, he still thought about his children, his son-in-law and daughter-in-law, and even more worried about when the revolutionary cause would be successful. It is such a mother with lofty ideals and strong willpower that has raised such excellent children, and she is worthy of being an "amazing woman" of the twentieth century.

However, it is worth mentioning here that before her death, she did not know that one son, Cai Luxian, died for the revolution in 1928, and another son, Cai Hesen, also died for the revolution in 1931.

It's just that the daughters, in order not to make their mother too sad, have been hiding from her until after her death.
