Her husbands were all well-known "cattle men" in the history of the Chinese revolution: the first husband was Mao Zedong's brother-in-law, Yang Kaihui's brother-in-law Yang Kaizhi, and the second and third husbands, although Li Lisan, Cai Hesen, were all members of the Politburo of the Central Committee, but the fourth husband was mysterious, and no information came out, but the daughter born together by the couple grew up to become a famous music professor.
She is really a ruthless and amorous person: ruthless refers to the courage to say goodbye to the previous marriage, and amorous refers to the fact that she actually arranged two sisters to be wives to two ex-husbands, and personally promoted the marriage of two "brother-in-law and sister-in-law".
She and her four husbands had five children: three daughters and two sons, all of whom achieved extraordinary success in their respective fields.
As you may have guessed, she is Li Yichun, who is known as the "pioneer of Independent Women in China" and has made countless modern women willing to bow to the wind.
In 1899, a family surnamed Li in Changsha, Hunan Province, gave birth to a daughter, and the family named her Li Chongying. After graduating from primary school, Li Chongying entered Changsha Zhounan Girls' School and changed his name to "Li Yichun".
On the eve of the May Fourth Movement, Changsha can be described as "the mountains and rain are about to come and the wind is full of buildings", the revolutionary activities are very active, and the female students of the Zhounan Girls' School have also integrated into the unstoppable revolutionary torrent. Li Yichun had a close friend, Yang Kaihui, who later became Mao Zedong's first wife. She often followed Yang Kaihui to the Yang family in Itakura to listen to the teachings of her father, Mr. Yang Changji. In this process, Li Yichun and Yang Kaihui's brother Yang Kaizhi also went from acquaintance to acquaintance and love.
In 1918, Yang Changji was recruited to teach at Peking University, and his family moved to Beijing. Li Yichun also followed Yang Kaizhi to Beijing, officially married, and gave birth to his daughter Yang Zhan in October 1920 (in 1941, he died in the anti-sweeping campaign for the transfer of comrades and became an anti-Japanese martyr). While raising their daughter, the couple continued to engage in revolutionary work and carry out the workers' movement.
In 1922, Yang Kaizhi's family was inhabited by a Hunan compatriot and revolutionary comrade, Li Lisan, who was 23 years old at the time and had just returned from studying in France, to investigate the workers' movement. Unexpectedly, such a small episode actually led to the breakdown of a marriage.
At that time, Li Lisan was full of style and talked extraordinary, and Li Yichun was a woman who longed for a new life and pursued new ideas. The more they talked, the more speculative they became, and gradually developed a good feeling.
In February 1923, Li Lisan wanted to return to Hunan, and Yang Kaizhi also had this plan at that time, but he still had work at hand, so he proposed to let Li Lisan take his wife back to Xiang first.
Unexpectedly, along the way, there was no distance between the two Li, and true love was generated. Li Yichun did not return to Changsha, but simply followed Li Lisan to the Anyuan Coal Mine in Jiangxi to launch a workers' strike. At that time, there was no need to go through any formal formalities, Li Yichun and Li Lisan re-established a family, and gave birth to a son Li Renjun (who later became a famous engineer in China's metallurgical industry).
However, Li Yichun did not abandon Yang Kaizhi, but wrote a very sincere letter, explained his situation, and made an arrangement that made Yang Kaizhi both surprised and a little moved: "My seventh sister Li Chongde is beautiful and intelligent, elegant and quiet, more suitable for you than me, you and her as a couple!" Although you are no longer my husband, you have become my seventh brother-in-law, and we are still relatives..."
Yang Kaizhi did not go against his ex-wife's painstaking intentions, and later he did find his former sister-in-law Li Chongde, married him, and grew old with a white head.
However, Li Yichun's second marriage did not last long.
In October 1925, Li Lisan and Li Yichun were sent to Moscow by their superiors to attend an important meeting of the Comintern. Also going were Cai Hesen and Xiang Jianyu and his wife.
Xiang Jianyu is also a liberated new woman who dares to love and dare to hate, "if it is for freedom, love can also be thrown away". She fell in love with Peng Shuzhi while she was in Shanghai and tired of the classic story of "Allying with Cai". After arriving in Moscow, her relationship with Cai and Sen, which had been rifted, was finally broken.
Seeing that Cai and Sen were experiencing a change of emotion and lying sick in bed, Li Lisan and Li Yichun took the initiative to take care of him out of revolutionary friendship. What Li Lisan did not expect was that it was this "helping others for pleasure" that broke his marriage. After Li Yichun's frequent contact with Cai hesen, he gradually hated this elder brother who was 4 years older than himself, calm and gentle, and talented (Li Lisan and Li Yichun were born in the same year).
Finally, one day, Li Yichun officially told Li Lisan: "Let's break up, I plan to be with Hesen." ”
Li Lisan sighed a long time, there was no big fuss, he just did not expect that after his third party successfully ascended to the throne, he was interfered in by a third party in just over three years. History is always strikingly similar, he waved his hand, turned away, did not take away a cloud, only took away Li Yichun once again made a touching arrangement for her ex-husband: "My third sister Li Chongshan has both beauty, talent and temperament, more suitable for you than me, you two form a new life partner!" ”
In April 1926, Li Lisan returned to China alone from Moscow, and later went to find Li Chongshan, the third sister of Li Yichun, and married in Shanghai. Of course, they have also experienced many ups and downs since then, and Li Lisan's marriage to Li Chongshan lasted less than four years.
At the end of 1926, Li Yichun, who stayed at Sun Yat-sen University in Moscow to study, officially married Cai Hesen. The following year, the couple returned to China together and threw themselves into the vigorous revolutionary movement.
In February 1928, Li Yichun gave birth to a daughter Cai Zhuan (who later became a famous brain physician) for Cai Hesen, and in May 1929 he gave birth to a son Cai Lin (who later became an outstanding college educator).
In June 1931, due to the betrayal of traitors, Cai hesen was arrested in Hong Kong and immediately extradited to Guangzhou by the British authorities in Hong Kong. On August 4 of that year, Cai Hesen bravely and righteously in the Guangzhou Military and Political Prison, only 36 years old, Li Yichun was in pain, under the care of the organization and superiors, she turned her grief into strength, and insisted on engaging in the party's underground revolutionary work in the white area for a long time, unfortunately arrested and imprisoned by the Kuomintang reactionaries. Later, he was rescued from prison by many party organizations and arrived in Yan'an.
From the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression to the War of Liberation, all the way to the founding of New China, Li Yichun engaged in theoretical education and made positive contributions to the country and the people.
In the late 1930s, Li Yichun re-established the family, but her fourth husband was mysterious, only knowing that they had a daughter named Li Jiti, a famous music professor.
Li Yichun died in Beijing in May 1984 at the age of 85.
Throughout Li Yichun's life, the first half of his life can be described as vigorous and breathtaking, and the second half of his life is Taoguang and obscure, interpreting the indisputable truth that "life is like a cup of wine, sometimes strong and sometimes thin".
For a long time, due to the large number of characters involved in the history of her marriage and love, the high level, and the complexity and uniqueness of the relationship, she naturally became a controversial figure. However, in such a revolutionary era when women have long been imprisoned by feudal ideology and eager to break all shackles, it is also forgivable to appear such a strange woman who is so unwilling to be bland, spontaneous and bold, and strives to pursue the ideals of love and life.
