Unfortunately, in 1927, the day after her husband's uprising in Guangzhou, he took a car to the north of the headquarters, and did not expect that a group of counter-revolutionaries would shoot at him with guns, and Zhang Tailei was shot 3 times in the car and fell in the car. He was only 29 years old. After learning the news of her husband's sacrifice, Wang Yizhi did not wither for a long time, but combined her husband's revolutionary spirit with herself and participated more actively in the revolutionary movement.

Doing underground intelligence transmission work in Shanghai, but unfortunately Li Bai was exposed, Wang Yizhi risked arrest, protected the organization's important finances, and also protected the safe evacuation of other colleagues. The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China sent invitations to Wang Yizhi three times, hoping that she would change her mind to take up an important position, and she still did not hesitate, so she politely refused.
After that, it was not until 1981 that Wang Yizhi knew that his predecessors were older and chose to retire.
