After Ye Ting and his wife died in an air crash, their descendants ended up: the second son became a general, and the fourth son became a pilot and was opposed

On April 8, 1946, General Ye Ting, his wife Li Xiuwen, and a pair of sons and daughters suffered an air crash and died over Shanxi. This incident alarmed the domestic and foreign media at that time. Even in 1955, after our army completed the awarding of the title, some people sighed and thought that if Ye Ting was alive, there would be two Ye Shuai in the marshal.

After the death of Mr. and Mrs. Ye Ting, what is the situation of his other descendants?

Ye Ting's life

Ye Ting's life can be described as a revolutionary life. Ye Ting was born in 1896. In the last years of the Qing Dynasty, Ye Ting was imprisoned in the Qing Dynasty in response to the Huanghuagang Uprising. Later, after being rescued by a friend, he was released from prison. Among the leaders of our army, there are several who have squatted in the old Jiang's prison, but there are really not many who have squatted in the Qing Dynasty prison.

After the founding of the Republic of China, Yuan Shikai usurped the power of the Qing Dynasty, and Ye Ting participated in the campaign against Yuan. In 1924, after Ye Ting came into contact with our side, he realized that the proposition put forward by Mr. Sun during the anti-Qing and crusade against Yuan Shikai could overthrow the feudal imperial system, but it could not save the country. Only our claims can save the country. So Ye Ting participated in our side this year.

During the Northern Expedition, Ye Ting served as the commander of the Independent Regiment of the Fourth Army of the Northern Expedition. Although Ye Ting's independent regiment only had a regimental structure, the combat effectiveness of this regiment made the Beiyang warlords feel frightened. Sometimes, what old Jiang could not do in an army, Ye Ting's regiment could solve.

In 1927, the Nanchang Uprising. The Red Army was born. Ye Ting was one of the leaders of the Nanchang Uprising. Moreover, during the Guangzhou Uprising, Ye Ting was also the commander-in-chief of the Guangzhou Uprising. However, for various reasons, after the Guangzhou Uprising, Ye Ting broke away from the Red Army troops and began a life of leisure for several years.

Never bow your head

In 1937, our side and Chiang Kai-shek reached a ceasefire agreement to unanimously resist Japan. The Red Army guerrillas of our army in the south were integrated into the New Fourth Army. As for the commanders of the New Fourth Army, our side and Chiang Kai-shek have their own views and do not give in to each other. Later, the two sides chose a compromise method: that is, to elect Ye Ting as the commander of the New Fourth Army. Because Ye Ting had been out of domestic affairs for a long time at this time, he could be regarded as a neutral person. Old Jiang believed that Ye Ting had long since left our side, and we believed that Ye Ting would continue the revolution. In this way, Ye Ting served as the commander of the New Fourth Army.

In 1941, Chiang Kai-shek realized that Ye Ting's tendency was still on our side, so Chiang Kai-shek planned the Anhui Southern Incident, in which Ye Ting was detained by the Kuomintang. This seizure lasted until 1946. During Ye Ting's detention, Chiang Kai-shek repeatedly sent people to persuade Ye Ting to surrender and promised various favorable conditions, but Ye Ting refused.

In 1946, under the active pressure of our side, Chiang Kai-shek had to order Ye Ting to be released. I just didn't think that ye Ting had just been released and died in an air crash.

Family situation

When Mr. and Mrs. Ye Ting died, there were still six children in the world. In fact, as early as when Ye Ting and his wife were detained, we tried our best to give Ye Ting's children a certain amount of care. Therefore, after Ye Ting's death, the leader specifically instructed that Ye Ting's children should be taken care of and cultivated as his own children. After all, Ye Ting had great merits both for the revolution and for resisting foreign enemies.

Ye Ting's eldest son, Ye Zhengda, was already nineteen years old when Ye Ting died. After the founding of New China, Ye Zhengda chose to engage in aerospace research and became a generation of influential aerospace scholars. In 1998, Ye Zhengda was awarded by the military for his contributions to aviation research.

Ye Ting's second son, Ye Zhengming, had the highest achievements. When Ye Zhengming was a child, he was persecuted by Old Jiang against Ye Ting. However, Ye Zhengming has never been afraid, so many people believe that among Ye Ting's children, Ye Zhengming is the most like Ye Ting. When Ye Ting died, Ye Zhengming was only fifteen years old. When Ye Zhengming grew up, he also chose to become a soldier and became an expert general.

It should be noted that Ye Ting's fourth son, Ye Huaming. In the year of Ye Ting's death, Ye Huaming was only eleven years old. Ye huaming later became an expert on surface-to-air missiles. However, Ye Huaming's original ideal was to be a pilot, but it was denied by Nie Shuai: this is not because Ye Huaming is not suitable for pilots, but because Nie Shuai considers Ye Ting's death in the air crash, so he does not want Ye Huaming to engage in this kind of industry.
