Over the past one hundred years, in order to realize national independence, the liberation of the people, the prosperity and strength of the country, and the happiness of the people, the Chinese Communists have gone forward and struggled with determination, giving birth to many heroic stories that can be sung and wept, and countless touching and profound pioneer models have emerged, which are worth remembering and carrying forward. To this end, since March 2021, the Dadi Edition of the Literary and Art Supplement has successively set up columns, organized writers to conduct in-depth interviews and meticulous writing, and told the story of the struggle of Chinese Communists in different forms such as documentary prose and reportage, showing the lofty pursuit of Chinese Communists, highlighting the original mission of Chinese Communists to seek happiness for the Chinese people and rejuvenation for the Chinese nation, and creating a strong atmosphere for the party's centennial birthday.

Write the story of the struggle of the revolutionary predecessors

Red resources are the testimony of our party's arduous struggle and the most precious spiritual wealth. Fully tapping into the red resources, telling the stories of the struggle of the revolutionary predecessors, and understanding their spiritual source and the foundation of faith can inject magnificent strength into our struggle today. To this end, since March 2021, the Dadi Edition has launched a column of "Tribute to Revolutionary Predecessors" to write about the noble spirit and struggle life of revolutionary predecessors.

"Song for Heroes" written by Wu Qimincai, a reporter of this newspaper, records that Hu Deqin, a member of the army's cultural and industrial regiment, went with the army to the battlefield of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea in the 1950s, and his experience of "singing for heroes" in his later life, and praised the revolutionary tradition of literary and art fighters that "hardship is glory, and persistence is victory." The writer Chao Yancai's "Huawu Village, the Seventeen Pines That Stand Tall" restores such a touching history: In the 1930s, seventeen good sons and daughters of Ruijin Huawu Village joined the Red Army, and when they left their hometown, each of them planted a pine tree, and later they all sacrificed themselves on the battlefield, leaving only Qingsong silently watching over their hometown, inspiring the people in the old district to strive to build a new life today. Writer Fang Jinhuacai's "Tea Mountain is My Home" tells the story of the people of Chashan Village, Zhongzhou Town, Chun'an County, Zhejiang Province, who tirelessly searched for the footprints of Fang Zhimin and other revolutionary predecessors who fought here, and they deeply remembered the revolutionary martyrs and paid tribute to the revolutionary predecessors with practical actions. Writers Yuan Guiqiu and Xiong Yuquncai wrote "For the Rice Fragrance to Fill the World", which tells the moving deeds of Lu Yonggen, a "model of the times", who devoted his life to the motherland's agricultural scientific research work and education, and showed the character and feelings of an outstanding Communist Party member. The writer Xiao Qincai's "Pursuit of the Sharpshooters of Shangganling" excavated such a dusty history: Zou Xixiang was a famous sharpshooter on the battlefield of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, and after winning the war, he hid his merits and fame and returned to his hometown to lead the villagers to grow rice and become rich. The writer Yang Hui Sucai wrote "Seventy Years of Yinuo", which tells the story of Yang Aigong, a ninety-two-year-old veteran party member, who has been volunteering to guard the tomb of General Zuo Quan for seventy years and tells the patriotic deeds of the general for those who come to pay respects. The heroic deeds of these revolutionary predecessors have replenished the calcium of the spirit for us and laid a solid foundation for our faith.

Show the spiritual world of meritorious Party members

On the eve of the centenary of the Communist Party of China, the Party Central Committee decided to award Ma Maojie and twenty-nine other comrades the "July 1st Medal." In order to dig deeper into the life stories of the "July 1st Medal" recipients and show their spiritual world, The Earth Edition has launched a series of reportages entitled "Tribute to Meritorious Party Members" from July 2021.

"Light up the Dreams of More Children" written by writer Li Chaodecai presents Zhang Guimei's rich and three-dimensional spiritual world, Zhang Guimei has worked hard all her life, paid silently, selflessly helped the children in the mountains, and is the inheritor of the lofty spirit of outstanding communists. Writer Wang Longcai's "The Legendary Life of a Combat Hero" records Chai Yunzhen's legendary life. After joining the people's army, this Young Man from Sichuan felt great warmth, burst out of his powerful combat strength, and was brave and tenacious in the battlefield of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, and made outstanding meritorious achievements. Writer He Jianmingcai's "The Story of Huang Dafa and the Villagers Building Canals" and writer Jiang Weicai's "Turning Sand Nests into Gold and Silver Warehouses" tell the touching stories of Huang Dafa, Shi Guangyin, and other party members and cadres who spent their lives asking for clear springs from drought and wealth from the desert, and wrote in life the valuable fighting spirit of outstanding Communist Party members who "dared to overcome all difficulties without being overwhelmed by any difficulties." Writer Li Chunleicai's "Mountains Will Not Forget" presents the valuable qualities of young people in the new era represented by Huang Wenxiu who are willing to serve and dedicate; "Gesang Flowers Bloom in the Yumai River Valley" written by writer Du Wenjuancai, and "Persistent Persistence" written by Yang Mingfang, a reporter of this newspaper, write touching stories of Zhuo Ga, the Yangzong sisters, and Wei Deyou and his wife who have guarded the border for decades. This series of reportage shows the life style and spiritual world of the meritorious party members, so that we are touched in the real details and infected in the noble spirit.

Telling the story of "ordinary greatness"

On our vast land, in our daily lives, we will meet many Communist Party members. They do one line, love one line, and are fine in one line, silently dedicate themselves to their respective posts, and study diligently; they selflessly dedicate themselves to the country and the people, not afraid of difficulties, regardless of remuneration, and even not afraid of life and death; they have a point of light and a point of light, and a little heat is a little heat, burning themselves, warming others. In the "Chasing Dreams" column opened in 2021, a large number of documentary literary works were published, telling the warmth and emotion brought to us by these "ordinary greatness" that are active around us.

His name is Nan Rendong, an astronomer, for the great project of "China's Heavenly Eye", he has worked tirelessly for more than twenty years and devoted his life until he burned up his life ("Toward the Depths of the Universe"),his name is Yu Yuanjun, a water conservancy engineer, in order to make the eight hundred mile cave court forever clear, for this piece of clear water can benefit the people for a long time, forget about my work, and finally fell on the front line of water conservancy work ("For that one blue thousand acres"),his name is Bai Kunshun, satellite fuel refueling worker, He has been a behind-the-scenes hero all his life ("The Power of Perseverance without Regrets"),his name is Zhang Shaoquan, an old branch secretary of a mountain village; he is not only a confidant in the lives of the villagers, a leader on the road to prosperity, but also as an old party member, in the important days of the party and the country, he has paid special party fees ("A Stack of Precious Receipts") again and again; his name is Razini Bayka, a border guard Born in a glorious "border guard family" on the snowy plateau, he sacrificed his young life to save the children who fell into the water ("The Patriotic Feelings of the Highland Border Patrol") ... Some of these names are thunderous, and some are less well known. They are so different and so similar – wherever they stand, they dedicate themselves in their own ways to serve the people. They have a common name: the Chinese Communists.

Sing "Struggling Youth"

The youth of the new era have lit up the light of ideals, set up the lofty aspirations, written the chapter of youth on the land of the motherland, and played the song of struggle in the new era. Since March 2021, Dadi Edition has launched the "Young People Here" column, focusing on the youth group in the new era, telling the story of the struggle of outstanding young people who are upwardly good, practical and practical, courageous to innovate, and willing to dedicate, showing that the youth group integrates youth struggle into the cause of the party and the people, and lives up to the times and shaohua's spiritual outlook.

Among them, there are young people from the Chopstick Lane Police Station in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, who "enter a hundred doors, do a hundred family affairs, and warm the hearts of a hundred families", and constantly improve their ability and level of doing practical things for the masses, and the people treat them as relatives ("Young People in the Police Station"),There are firefighters from Wudu District, Longnan City, Gansu Province, who send out police more than 300 times a year, and often send out police one or twenty times a day. In addition to fires, earthquakes, and floods, they also help the masses solve various difficulties ("Deep in the Mountains, They Are Always Ready"),there are also young people who struggle in special fields, such as the carrier-based helicopter guide on the Liaoning ship, this group of young girls, who dedicate the best years to the sea and write the fanghua of youth with unrepentant loyalty ("Youth, Dedicated to that Blue").

Poverty alleviation and rural revitalization are the most magnificent undertakings that have taken place in the land of China in recent years, and many young people have no hesitation in throwing themselves into it, integrating their personal youth into the glorious cause of fighting for the motherland and the people, and many touching stories have occurred. Writer Wang Hongjia wrote "Leaving a Team That Doesn't Leave", which tells the story of the struggle of several young people in the fight against poverty in Bijie, Guizhou, who not only left a team that will never leave for Bijie, but also left a group of vigorous village collective cooperatives and a set of efficient and effective rural governance systems. The protagonist of "The Moon in the Mountains" is Yang Ning, the winner of the "Chinese Youth May Fourth Medal", and the hometown people's ardent expectation of "go back to your hometown, your hometown needs you", let Yang Ning resolutely give up his work in the city and return to the village to lead the villagers to get rid of poverty and get rich.

The new era and new journey are the historical orientation of contemporary Chinese literature and art. It is expected that our literary writers will continue to go deep into life, take root in the people, sink their hearts, feelings and thoughts into the people, and write more and better works.

Excerpts from works

Yes, Hua Wu, is the famous Red Army Martyrs Village. These seventeen descendants with the surname Hua whose names were inscribed by their descendants all had similar brief lives and never returned to this village. Only the seventeen pine trees they had planted with their own hands still stood in the dense forest. Some of these pine trees are connected by branches, like brothers in hand; some stand alone, like stubborn children. But no matter what, there is the same direction of growth - toward the sky, toward the sun, with the neck open, like the unwavering determination when I joined the Red Army, like the unheated expedition eighty-seven years ago.

——" Huawu Village, The Seventeen Pines That Stand Tall," April 12, 2021

"Always follow the party, love will always follow." Rooted in a small mountain village, only to be in the middle of nowhere..."

I was touched by this oath and asked them curiously: Why did you choose to vow life here?

They said: "My hometown has just been lifted out of poverty, and there is still a lot to be done." Since the two of us have chosen to return to our hometown, we must do something and integrate our lives with the revitalization of our hometown. Life is long, there are many challenges, everything needs time to prove, everything needs faith to support. So, let's come to the site to learn and cheer!"

——Youth Tide, April 19, 2021

Say what? A phrase I often hear when interviewing veterans of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea echoed in my ears -- what to say? Say you're heroic? There are so many heroics buried in the battlefield, what do you say?!

Qingshan is silent, the hero is speechless, and the silence is more than just a Zou Xixiang. In the 2019 military parade for the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China, the airborne combat vehicle square passed through Tiananmen Square, and a battle flag with three hundred and eighty-one bullet holes fluttered in the wind, which was a battle flag preserved after Zou Xixiang's 15th Army bathed in Ganling, it belonged to the 15th Army of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army, belonged to the 8th Company of Shangganling Special Gong, and belonged to the tenacious and heroic Chinese nation, and also belonged to Zou Xixiang, a farmer in the mountains of Guizhou.

In April 1998, Zhang Guimei became an honorable member of the Communist Party. She silently made a promise under the party flag: she would strive to become a person like Jiang Jie and Jiao Yulu. "To be able to dedicate my youth to the party is my supreme glory", this lyric of Sister Jiang in the opera has cast her life faith. Now, she wants to "be loyal to the party, work actively, fight for communism all her life, and be ready to sacrifice everything for the party and the people" as the highest pursuit in her life.

"Light Up More Kids' Dreams," August 4, 2021

In this year, When Yang Aigong was twenty-one years old, he was demobilized and returned to Shimen Village and became a member of the village committee.

It was from this time on that Yang Aigong made a vow: he would oblige to guard the tomb of General Zuo Quan under the Lotus Mountain and pass on the patriotic spirit of the general.

This promise is seventy years.

How many bad brooms he used, he couldn't count.

How many pairs of cloth shoes had broken, he couldn't remember.

But he always remembered himself as a party member, and his beliefs, his oaths, never changed.

— "Seventy Years of a Promise," September 6, 2021

During this period, his body developed severe discomfort and colon ulcers plagued him for many years. Because he smoked a lot, colleagues were worried that he had problems with his lungs and had repeatedly advised him to go to the hospital for examination. He always said that he didn't have time for work and didn't go to the physical examination. Colleagues said that he was afraid that finding out the problem would affect the "big radio" project. His students said that Mr. Nan was actually a person who had long put life and death aside, but he said that I would use the time I did not die to complete the huge project of FAST. He said we have no way to retreat, FAST has no way back, our nation has no way back, we must rush out!

"Love Kitchen", Wan Zuocheng and his wife convey a strong warmth in this small space, providing patients and their families with pots and pans, stove coal fire, chai rice oil and salt, symbolically charging a one-yuan cost fee, just to let patients eat the steaming "taste of home". Three hundred and sixty-five days of busyness throughout the year, perseverance and perseverance, stem from the kindness of their hearts.
