On May 12, Dingyuan County's 2024 "Singing Classics and Inheriting Civilization" offline performance selection activity was successfully held in the lecture hall of the county veteran cadre activity center. The event was jointly sponsored by the Dingyuan County Customs Working Committee and the Dingyuan County Education and Sports Bureau.
Wang Xiuping, executive deputy director of the Dingyuan County Customs Working Committee, Zhu Zhengzhi and Li Yannian, deputy directors of the County Customs Working Committee, Wang Li, member of the Education and Sports Working Committee of the County Party Committee and deputy director of the County Education and Sports Bureau, Tang Renfeng, director of the Customs Working Committee of the County Education and Sports Bureau, and the heads of the schools participating in the exhibition and evaluation attended the event. More than 400 students from 10 schools, including Quyang Road Campus of Dingyuan County Experimental Primary School Education Group, Experimental Primary School of Binhu Education Group New District, First Junior High School, Second Junior High School, Third Junior High School, Jianshe Primary School, National Primary School, Staff Primary School, Chengbei Primary School, and Huayuanhu Primary School, participated in the performance, singing cultural classics, inheriting Chinese civilization, and receiving enthusiastic responses.
In his speech at the launching ceremony, Wang Xiuping said that primary and secondary school students participated in the "Singing Classics. Inheriting Civilization" theme exhibition and performance activities can broaden horizons, activate thinking, cultivate sentiment, and improve cultural taste and aesthetic ability. It is hoped that the participating students will sing classic poems, tell Chinese stories well, sing Chinese voices, inherit Chinese virtues, actively practice the core values of socialism, and strive to be "good boys in the new era".
During the performance, the participating students from each school performed their works and recited classics through different forms and styles, with rich and colorful content, climaxes, warm atmosphere and grand scenes. Some of the students are full of feelings, enthusiasm and generosity, some are full of energy, painting sound and color, some are sonorous and powerful, serious and solemn, and some are eloquent and immersed in the heart and spleen...... "Returning to the Hometown Doll Book", "Chuzhou West Stream", "Wandering Son" and other classic poems such as gurgling water infiltrating the heart, giving people the enjoyment of beauty, fully demonstrating the students' profound reading skills and high-spirited spirit. The event lasted more than 150 minutes and came to an end unconsciously, and the guests, audience and judges were still unsatisfied, and all the awards had their own belongings, and the event was a complete success.
"I hope that the primary and secondary schools in the county will take this exhibition and evaluation activity as an opportunity to actively organize students to recite Chinese classics in a variety of ways, absorb cultural nutrition, deeply understand the 'root' and 'soul' in the blood of Chinese excellent culture, get close to Chinese classics in singing, love Chinese culture in closeness, and promote Chinese civilization in love." Tang Renfeng made a heartfelt initiative when presiding over the event.
