On May 17, on the occasion of the National Energy Conservation Publicity Week, the theme activity of the 2024 Energy Conservation Publicity Week of Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Zone and the semi-final of the 3rd "Green Innovation Cup" Green Technology Innovation Competition were successfully held in Tianjin Double Carbon Building.
The event was hosted by the Development and Reform Bureau of Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Zone and undertaken by TEDA Low Carbon Center, focusing on the theme of "Green Transformation and Energy Saving", and 11 companies from Germany, the Netherlands, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Suzhou, Tianjin and other countries and regions participated in the semi-finals, covering green equipment manufacturing, energy storage technology, waste heat recovery and other professional directions.
The participating companies conducted a technology roadshow through a combination of online and offline, showing a variety of "black technology" products such as garbage classification and treatment, efficient utilization of boiler heat sources, and pollution source treatment, and the expert judges made professional comments in turn. Among them, Tianjin Yichen Xinhuannong Technology Co., Ltd., an enterprise in Tianjin Economic Development Zone, has brought a new process of "cooling water purification treatment in industrial equipment".
In addition, TEDA Low Carbon Center gave a keynote speech on "Product Carbon Footprint Helps Sustainable Development of Enterprises" at the event, and also organized enterprises in the Economic and Technological Development Zone and participating technology enterprises to carry out free exchange activities around market demand and technology adaptation, which further promoted the wide application of advanced green technologies at home and abroad in the Economic and Technological Development Zone.
